  1. Please no Sissoko on the wing. He and Anita need to start in the middle, our engines. If anything, I'd push Kebab forward.
  2. Is the Zog still playing for them? Cue the customary former-player-plays-blinder performance. Sigh. I do think if we stick with the team that we saw in the latter stages vs. Fulham we'll have a brilliant game on our hands.

His overdraft comment pretty much exorcised any doubts I personally ever had about him being complicit and in bed with the regime. Want him gone, out, don't sully the door with your dirty arseprint, fuckface.

Thank you. I hope local journos call the club and the scaly one out on this one. At the very least, we need answers.

Just shut up and be offended. What kind of Newcastle fan are you?

How anyone can even defend this snake-oil salesman anymore is baffling. He's lost any credibility he had about the window with those quotes. Thanks for patronising us, telling us we had unrealistic expectations, telling the world we wanted to plunge the club into "overdraft" for a "marquee" signing. Yes, that's what we've been crying out for, a marquee signing. Not how we've seen the squad stripped and depleted and simply have been asking for more numbers to account for injuries and suspensions, no. I wanna kick something really hard.

Are those quotes real? Overdraft? This has just ruined my day. FFS. Need to count to ten.

He needs to shut his trap. I'm astonished at how low he's sunk sucking up to the regime. Really making it difficult to feel sorry for him about the window.

    Andy Carroll

I think the problem is that the whole two big lads up front tactic will be far too stifling, too stagnant, and England don't have wingers (Milner, Downing?) who can cross like Beckham once did. If anything, have Carroll or Lambert win headers for Sturridge to chase, but that leaves the question of Rooney.

Man, Scotty's taking the English team back to the stone ages. Two big lads up front, Pardew-tastic. Sturridge for #9, tbh. He's the most in-form striker anyway. Him and Rooney could form a pretty potent partnership. I don't even rate Welbeck to be honest.

You should be able to explain better than anyone Why? Because I think Cisse is crap at football? *Sigh*
  12. I was with him until the involuntary FTM.

I'm with CD on this one:

So, what's holding Sturridge back, again? His numbers are insane, people need to stop living in the past and mould their attacks around quick players like him, not the "old English centre forward" archetype which hasn't been filled since Big Al retired at the top. Even he had to change his game quite a bit to stay relevant at the top.
  15. Death threats at Gabby from "1ders"... definitely worse than the Beatle-mania. They keep wanting to kill anyone who even mildly smirks at these guys So easy to market to these dumb teenagers, I wish I had such a product at my disposal

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Both KK and SBR would not only have signed him, they'd have built a team around him and got the best out of him, a la Bale and Cronaldo. Just our luck we have a manager who didn't even put him on until he proved he was better than Obertan / Shola on the wing by scoring wondergoals as a sub.

No-one could bother copying and pasting in on here? Bombaclot.
  18. Look at me, look at me, I'm a contrarian. Pathetic.
  19. I have a feeling this is the year Liverpool and Spurs truly break away from us, we'll not be competing on the same level as them for a long, long time now. The year we finished 5th was when we could've continued bridging that gap after the horror of relegation, but we're slipping back into Ashley's and Pardew's plan of making us a 'small' club, the way they see it.

    Papiss Cissé

It must be fun being College Dropout -- anyone can take up any position and no matter what happens you can look at the negatives and feel smug that you were right. So, well, you're always right. If Cisse had scored today, even two goals, I get the feeling he'd still be complaining. Wish there was a mute button each time he opens his mouth on Cisse. Nothing personal, CD. You're a normal guy when it comes to everything else on the forum And I do generally value your input on other things.

That comment was so shocking, bewildering, not least in its bizarre timing, that all my happiness squeezed itself of my anus like a semi-chewed piece of butter chicken and I wanted to run to the fucking toilet.
