Is this recent? He's lost weight?
  2. We have incredible players right now. The clown in charge uses them as fussball pieces. I am finding it really hard to get excited about incoming transfers at the moment as they'll not be utilized in any sort of fluid system.

I love the idea that Carroll will suddenly come in and become Mara-fucking-dona and score 30 goals for us, all by himself, launching himself at every Williamson Hollywood pass, controlling it with his ponytail and bicycle-kicking every goal into the top corner. WTF are some people on here thinking. Cisse is in a different league (better league) compared to Carroll, who will regress our team play even further under the donkey of a manager we have.

We were lucky to win at QPR. Ridiculous that we had to rely on their errors to score.

Thank you. People are fucking mental wanting to sell him. Our only fucking goal threat

    Alan Pardew

Keeping him flies in the face of the "Ashley only cares about staying in this division" narrative, as Hughton was fired even though he'd have easily met that criteria.

While I'm split on Martinez as a top manager, I wouldn't mind giving him the reigns at our club simply because he can't do any worse than Pardew has done with this squad, and the resources available here.

Why isn't Martinez being sounded out? He sounds like he can actually work under the Ashley purse-strings and system, especially after his sound speech about including relegation clauses and taking a paycut to reflect a new reality post-relegation. Sounds like he has financial AND footballing nous.

LOL. You couldn't make this up. Wow.

I am confused as to how this man is still in a job. He has been speaking like a dead man walking for some time now, so the owners even listen to the shit he comes out with? They clearly are in top of every little thing the press writes about the team.

I am completely flummoxed about next season. Logic dictates that what you just said is how it will pan out, but the eternal optimist inside says, "hey, maybe he will learn some lessons from last season and actually get the players together again!" I guess denial is a huge part of football.

Has a real drive to bring a trophy? Really? By wishing we were not in competitions where we would have a chance of actually winning one?

So it's experience we're lacking, eh? I suppose arsenal and benfica would resort to hoofball if any of their experienced players got injured.

Is there a reason why the 4-3-3 has been pretty much dumped? If anything, we have players to fit that system now more than ever, with the new signings.

Unreal how someone can keep their Pardew love intact after the season we just went through. Always amazes me how two different people can view the same thing very, very differently. I just don't know how to say this, Happy Face: you're wrong. That's all I have.

It always feels so much worse when other fans bother to have a look-in on the mad, mad world of Newcastle United. It injects a new sense of embarrassment along with much needed clarity: that yes, the ones who run this club are truly insane, and we are not deluded in thinking so.
  17. Brilliant chart. Can I use this on FB? Asking as I don't know the source. Cheers.
  18. The sad and scary thing is that Newcastle rarely do the things required of them. There is now so much pressure to win at QPR that I see is fucking it up, or bottling it. I hope I'm wrong, but QPR will be playing without fear or have their youngsters looking to make an impression. Thing is, not going behind early is crucial. But under Pardew I'm even scared of going AHEAD early, as he'll sit back and watch us concede. Fucks sake. I am so, so scared about this game, a bag of nerves.

    Fair play to Krul there

Woohoo. Ryan Nelson manager, Ben Haim in the heart of defence, and goal machine Robert Earnshaw up front. Hitting up a few games this season for sure.

This shit should NOT be coming out right before our make or break game. FFS.
