I actually think it’s the most talented Newcastle Utd squad since promotion certainly the most expensive. And with Bruce smartly deciding to live off Rafa’s well drilled back 3/5 I don’t see us conceding huge amounts IF he keeps it. The biggest issue I think he’ll face is fans screaming for Joelinton, Saint-Maximin, Almiron to all start. He has said he’ll be attacking but his 3-5-2 will mean we’re playing with 1 less forward than under Rafa Benitez. I think we’ll see a backlash to his attacking comments the more we see him leave one of Joelinton, Saint-Maximin, Almiron out every week. I expect his attacking comments will come to bite him if fans keep seeing him not play the mythical new front 3.

Doesn’t really fit in Brucey’s 3-5-2 unfortunately. Bournemouth is a great fit for him.

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is on his way to Bournemouth for a medical and to finalise a season-long loan move. Great loan signing. I’d now rule them out of filling that last relegation spot despite their shocking defence. Hard to predict who will take that last relegation spot next season.

Ludwig Francilette signs for NUFC/didn’t cut mustard at Dijon

Where is that ITK guy from yesterday he should know Come on big boy tell us who it is. Is it someone Rafa “rejected” in 1999? -
Defensive midfielder and former Lille captain Ibrahim Amadou is set to join Norwich on loan from Sevilla tomorrow. Deal will include a €10m purchase option. That is some loan signing for a promoted side.
-
If it’s someone older than Rondon
-
With that manager of their's you'd have to say £75m is a fair price for someone that hasn't conceeded more despite of him.

Palace were all ready to sign off on a loan deal for Víctor Camarasa and were waiting for Camarasa to arrive in London today to finalise the deal, but Burnley swooped in at the last minute and caused ‘a blockage in the negotiation’ [Diario de Sevilla] If we sold Hayden I reckon he would be a very good replacement for us.

Hmm yes this definitely appears to be a noble cause worthy of my money. No thanks. Jesus christ No thanks.

Dalian is possibly a bigger project than Newcastle in terms of setting up infrastructure, staff and getting a good team together. Challenging the big 3 in China would be a huge undertaking assuming he has the backing of the owner. Already turned them from 11th to joint 5th 5 wins in 7 games. Only lost 1 in 7 games. 18 goals in just 7 games. And into the Semi Final of the Cup playing one of the bottom sides. He might win a trophy before we even win a Premier League game

Assuming this 7k figure is accurate, we're already around the 45k mark, and still 6 days for that figure to creep up. You’re assuming all the season ticket holders will turn up? I know loads of people with season tickets that are boycotting the first game. Also season ticket holders that are on holiday for the first game too.

Hull getting £9million from the Maguire deal might end any need for Hull to cash in on Bowen this Summer.
-
Bournemouth want £75million for 70 goals conceded Ake
-
Where is this? Would be excellent business
-
With just a £28million net spend too

Think I’d mentioned that the set up was poor and far worse than other clubs, scouts hadn’t been allowed to go the World Cup or youth tournaments over the summer. There is more but that’s for another time. What planet is this guy on Can you tell us what Steve Bruce is having for breakfast tomorrow too? Or what Midhat Kidwai is upto right now? I could never imagine having the cheek to pretend to be an ITK and lead people on. No idea mate but I’m fairly sure you’re a fucking idiot. Can’t lie to me pal
-
I really dislike these ITK types they just deliberately deceive people to believe their agenda. I’m sorry but none of us know inside information.

Who told you all this your mam or did you dream it up? Best part “From what I’ve been told” You know when they start with that they’re talking absolute agenda driven garbage Made Keegan leave & made Rafa leave and we still haven’t all learnt the issue. Incredible. Quite honestly your opinion on what’s going on and who should be doing what is nearing medical intervention. Bloke who works on the scouting side gives me bits and pieces from time to time. He expected Rafa to stay on a shorter deal, he was never going to sign a 8 year deal and nobody gave any real credence to him going to China. The fact that he did go must be an indication of how long this had been in the pipeline. Rafa simply doesn’t do sod this I’m off to China without looking into every aspect of it. Bloody hell, he approached us after doing his homework and was right about everything other than his ability to change Ashley. Bet he does And I’m the one that needs medical help haha.

good timing mate.

Shocked Guardiola hasn’t shipped Walker out of Man City yet. He seems to get worse every season.

Did you see the match yesterday? Second half we played some really good stuff Do you think that was Bruce or the past three years of coaching drilled by Rafa? Both. It was drastically different in style/tactics in the second half. Very attacking. Only 4 teams scored more than us since Rafa was allowed to sign Almiron in January to play in his front 3 of Almiron, Perez, Rondon. Scored 2+ goals in 6 of our last 7 home games since Rafa built his front 3. Winning 5 out of 7 of them. And we were statistically the 7th best side in the league since Almiron signed/With Rafa’s 3 Amigos upfront. We also had the most shots on target against Liverpool of any Premier League that played them. The only boring thing about Rafa were the myths

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Great. In 1 day Steve Bruce taught Saint-Maximin how to do skills and entertain us. Incredible by Steve
