I don’t get why Aston Villa fans throw a fit every time they get compared to Fulham It’s similar surely you can see that? I think you’ll do better than Fulham but you will have similar issues.

Given our likely 3-5-2.. Saint-Maximin & Bowen I don’t think Harry Wilson would suit the system. Bowen would suit breaking from a midfield 3 though has goals in him too. Joelinton Saint-Maximin Almiron Bowen Longstaff Shelvey Hayden Ritchie Yedlin Lejeune Lascelles Schar Dubravka Starting every game with 12 players could be our chance to avoid relegation this season. Maybe that's Bruce ace up his sleeve. Almiron & Bowen rotating with Saint Maximin & Hayden for starting place

Wolves are set to confirm the loan signing of Real Madrid and Spain U21 captain, Jesus Vallejo. Now that is some loan signing Improvement on Bennett.

It’s not too uncommon now. Most promoted clubs go for it and spend the TV money to try and compete. They also have very few assets who will go for huge money to affect their ‘net spend’. We have the third richest owners in English football too, which helps. The Sawiris family are eye wateringly minted and Wes Edens isn't short of a few quid either Most importantly, they're not just throwing money in and hoping for the best, they've appointed a coach with a good paying style and the brief to get the whole club playing that way, appointed a head of recruitment (Pitarch) who has put together a Europe wide scouting system and put in place a CEO who has done the job at Chelsea and Liverpool. Apparently they had two plans - players they wanted, basically - put together last season, one for if we stayed down, one for if we went up. That's the sort of sensible spending we didn't have with Lerner, who threw money in and let MON run things Exactly what Fulham fans were saying last Summer. Came up thinking their spending and “playing style” would rip up the Premier League too. Instead the Premier League ripped them up Which I predicted

Did you see Zlatan’s elbow on the LAFC player? Poor guy is going to require facial surgery. Nope was it intentional? They have VAR so i’m assuming if it was he probably didn’t get away with it
-
Just seen the Sissoko stamp Did the same against us and got away with it then too. VAR is needed.
-
Lejeune be available that quickly? Basically what I assumed the lineup would be when fit as well. More likely to be 3-5-2 with Shelvey in a 3 man midfield. Expecting this for Arsenal. Dubravka Schar Lascelles Dummett Yedlin Ritchie Hayden Shelvey Longstaff Joelinton Almiron

oddly i think almiron will do well under bruce, a few of our attackers might well flourish more than they did under rafa as he won't be expecting them to be as disciplined defensively it will inevitably lead to us getting some absolute fucking shoeings mind. Perez was the Premier League top scorer from January. And Rondon the 4th highest contributive striker outside the Big 6. Only 4 teams scored more than us since Almiron arrived. We went on a 5 game run when Almiron signed of having the most shots in the Premier League for that period even more than Man City. We were flying attackingly in 3-4-2-1 when Mike finally let Rafa Benitez have money for a quality attacking player
-
Yeah need a manager that plays that though Only way I see them being on the pitch at same time is Joelinton & Saint-Maximin up top with Almiron breaking from his 3 in midfield.
-
Yes, we already saw the impact Almiron had in this regard. Joelinton will also adds some of this ability too now, as he can get on the ball and can take players on with it as well. If we do get Saint-Maximin, the three of them could cause a lot of problems. How would they be on the pitch at the same time though. His 3-5-2 doesn’t have a front 3
-
Jean-Philippe Mateta is the one I wanted more than Joelinton, Saint-Maximin. Proper striker reminds me of Demba Ba. Joelinton will need time to make the striker role his best position. NUFC were offered Mateta for £8m last summer... Yeah, heard about that too. Rafa wasn't keen and wouldn't sign off on it, and MA was pissed off apparently. Did he reject Messi too? I heard he rejected Zidane at the age of 2.
-
Apparently he was nicknamed Modric in the youth team

You don’t have his achievements if you’re in management for just money Rafa Benitez is probably one of the most achievement obsessed managers of the last 20 years. He’s absolutely obsessed with every aspect of management and trying to improve sides. I watched him on the touchline for Dalian and you couldn’t see a more passionate man trying to improve his team he isn’t a man that is just there for money he’s absolutely obsessed with doing the best job he can do. He just didn’t want to sit on the sofa next season he wanted to manage. We were the ones that pushed him away, he said in April after the Leicester win that he had sent his staying requirements about doing the right thing and he said they didn’t even respond till the summer and that it was like they hadn’t even read it. Obvious who is at blame. Keegan was the same in that he wanted to stay at Newcastle but not Mike Ashley F.C.

Rafa Benitez is going to win a trophy before Bruce even wins a match isn’t he
-
Wait till you lot watch it. Very amusing
-
No way you’re an adult. Love you too

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/explained-new-goal-kick-rules-3127183 Just watched this new rule in the Juventus vs Inter match. Premier League using it next season too. Pep Guardiola is going to love it. So will Potter Yay or Nay
-
Rafa Benitez doesn’t offer sell on value though apparently
-
Conte to pip Juventus to the Title next season? He’s giving Sarri a tactical lesson in this pre season game with far less quality.
-
What they going to try tell us next Rondon secretly hated playing under Rafa so didn’t want to sign for Newcastle All this garbage PR stuff to make Steve Bruce look good is revolting. The only thing that will make Steve Bruce look good is if Luke Edwards turns the table upside down at the end of the season. Which he probably will knowing him.
-
Garbage. Exactly what Lee and Mike want you to think/buy. Luke Edwards seems to have done a number on a few fans
-
And then Rafa has to be reappointed by default As per my knowledge of the law from Seinfeld, Bruce then has to become Rafa’s butler.
