  1. A goal or assist every 178 minutes tbf. West Ham would be getting far better value in Sebastian Haller at the same price. Haller is already the best striker of his type & age in Europe. Joelinton is much more raw/erratic finisher plus points though powerful/fast/can play anywhere in a front 3
  2. According to Marca. Tottenham Hotspur talking with Real Madrid over Gareth Bale transfer willing to pay between €50m and €60m. Will they really pay his wages?
  3. Is this guy even healthy enough to last on that touchline? From a purely health perspective should we be hiring this unhealthy mess? Well he'll be under pressure from the start so it doesn't look good for his waistline. It's 3am. Rafa Benitez is rewatching his next opponent's last match, trying to find a way to exploit their defence. Meanwhile, Steve Bruce is sitting on the kitchen floor in his pants eating pickled eggs from the jar.
  4. You mean you forgot about the picture of him on the Newcastle shower floor, with the come hither eyes? Jesus christ
  5. They won’t offer him longer than 2 years. Surely.....
  6. At least the naive little princess wouldn’t be coming for a retirement pay off. Steve Bruce said he wasn’t even sure he wanted to continue in management 6 months ago. We’ve payed £5million for someone who is nearly on the retirement beach
  7. All this hassle for Steve Bruce He’ll be be sat on a beach in Barbados counting his retirement pay off for having us rock bottom by Christmas. Horrific mistake by Mike both on and off the pitch.
  8. Sources close to the IFAB say directives on the new handball law are to make NO distinction as to how the ball came to hit a hand/arm. Even if deflected on to it. Or apparently blasted against. If the arm makes the body larger (as it does) that is penalised. Hmm.
  9. They’ve started too far behind for him to win it this season they’ve looked fantastic in his first 2 games though Next season I wouldn’t put it past him. Carrasco and Hamsik were incredible in their last match.
  10. Oh yeah I remember that. Completely forgot about that
  11. Sheff Utd bidding £15million for Oliver McBurnie apparently.
  12. Mike Ashley F.C Imagine Rafa Benitez having to listen to that unambitious garbage.
  13. £45m for Dunk? According to the press. £45million is over priced but overall selling Maguire for £80million and getting Dunk for £45million is decent trading tbf. Means you get Tielemans plus a CB who will go onto be regarded as same level as Maguire all for the price you’ve sold Maguire for
  14. BREAKING: Manchester United have agreed a world-record £80million deal for Harry Maguire. Personal terms agreed, medical tomorrow. (Sun) And. The Sun Football ⚽ @TheSunFootball Leicester agree £45m deal to sign Lewis Dunk.

    Graham Carr

    Isn’t Carr like 93 now?
  16. Hahaaa https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/9497012/newcastle-mike-ashley-steve-bruce-rafa-benitez Paying £5million/£6million to get a manager that will have to be sacked and payed off by Christmas. And will be retired on a beach within a year. Who would be stupid enough to pay for that “Whole package £6million”
  17. They couldn’t get things any more wrong it’s incredible
  18. I actually don't think he did, he just wanted Rafa to bow to his demands and be another of his little lackies, and Rafa was quite rightly having none of it. Rafa saw the club and it's fans, the potential of it all as more than a cash cow for Ashley to bleed dry. As always Ashley know the price of everything but the value of absolutely nothing. Rafa made it clear to him the terms under which he was prepared to stay, and Ashley also made it clear through his pals in the press that he wasn't prepared to bend his transfer policy for anybody. That is the same as saying these are the terms, either sign the contract or fuck off. If you are going to take a tough line, then you should be prepared to have a solid back up plan if the other party won't agree. Aye very true, i just think Ashley thought Rafa would bow to him, playing on Rafa's affection for us and the club. Nah Mike just thought he could replace him easy They’re finding out no one decent wants to work for Mike Ashley F.C anymore their restrictive model has put every talented manager off. Bet he was hoping someone like Rafa would come out of nowhere and save him. Not this time.

Love how Mike thought he could just easly get a good replacement that is willing to work under his restrictive and destructive ownership I bet the amount of rejections they’ve had is scary. He got it badly wrong again.
