He's not good enough to either justify his wages, or make up for 8 years of mediocrity. Fucks sake, some people still seem to think he's some kind of world class player. Who does? So no-one then?

Look egverybody, if NM thinks it's going too far to egg Dyer's house then it's clearly too fucking far!

Because a players value goes up if they perform well over a season? plenty had him under-valued to the tune of 50% when he arrived, swings and roundabouts tbh £3m in a year? doubt it. In fact, who has ever left NUFC for a profit, let alone £3m in a year? Everyone's transfer value has gone up dramatically since the new TV money came in. I bet Richardson wouldn't have commanded anywhere near the fee he did without it, for one.

There's one person who stands to receive some as well if it doesn't happen...
-
What about when you compare it to Viduka and Geremi?
-
and? so we are not signing Drame.... and?

Good stuff Llyodie. Even if we just pick up Faye (who has been rumoured today) and a competant left back then I'll be happy enough.
-
Have to say, if we have got £6m going for a midfielder I'd rather it was directed towards Appiah.
-
Are we scraping round for coins to sign defenders though? We just put a £7m bid in for a defender the other day, remember.

Parky has a contact at the Telegraph? Always knew he was a Tory at heart
-
I think it's probably important for his development that he goes out on loan this season, and it isn't especially important where. There will be quite a lot of pressure at Leeds though, which could make it less than ideal.
-
Eboue might be a good one to have in assuming he's down as a defender, very good chance he'll be playing in front of Sagna this year.
-
He was ok yesterday, stil looked as though he could be a bit of a liability at time. At one point he showed someone inside onto their right foot and gave them so much space they got a shot away with ease, it was awful defending. Improved as the game went on though.
-
Why not? Who the f*** measures people in foot??? (excluding oddball foreigners of course) Because others have another way of doing it then it makes them odd? Anyways back to the topic, if he's that promising.. i believe that f****** spurs or any other teams like chelsea would have a look at him. And even drenthe won't be rated at a cheap 1m pounds. Good point actually, we'll only look for players who are promising enough to be wanted by chelsea or spurs...

In what way would Roeder be a better DOF than Keegan? Is it his excellent record in the transfer window that makes you think this?
-
I noticed no-one celebrated with him as well, but didn't pay attention after Carroll's goal, was that much different?
-
I presume you mean def is coming, unless this is another one of your cryptic posts? If he comes in I presume that'll be as Dyer's replacement.
-
Well he certainly didn't vote failure!
-
Fucking hell, mods out in force
-
I voted success purely because I loved watching him play when he was on fire. He didn't always look like he gave a fuck, but he provided all Newcastle fans with some great memories - the first two that spring to mind are Barcelona (obviously) and his debut. At his best, unplayable.

By the way, Geremi should be in everyones team. He's down as a defender but looks like he will play most games in midfield and will take set pieces.
