We'd need a few of these to make a case, but it would be easy to do because they really are biased. If Glendinning is emailing back insults, this too would help make a case, providing the emails to him didn't set the tone or sink to the same level. It would need quite a few really good examples to make the case, and the case would need to be made quite carefully, but I'm willing to bet it would get investigated, causing Glendinning etc some trouble internally, if it was done properly.

Staggered payments for players is often how clubs sign people. What's the problem with having money outstanding on players we bought? It's a question of how much money, though. Just to log my agreement with Niall and Biffa on the stand-naming issue. Bobby was a great man and a loveable man, a good enough manager to have us overachieving for a handful of seasons at the end of his career. But even if he'd never spent that time with us, his reputation was already made through his achievements at Ipswich and other clubs, and as manager of England. A stand bearing his name would make sense at Ipswich, but not at SJP, and we shouldn't let sentiment about his apparently imminent demise obscure that fact.
