Be useful if Cisse took over the scoring for the next couple of months, and then everyone will lose interest in buying Ba. He can start banging them in again after the transfer window is over. Good read, that interview above. Clear that Ba is very committed to a career direction, and will probably seize any opportunity to move to a "better" club. I don't think he's likely to show us any particular loyalty. The contract negotiations are likely stalled by him wanting to keep his options open. Interesting that Cisse bit just before the end: no quotes. Colin Young obviously couldn't get Ba to say anything about the issue, so cobbled that stuff together because the story had to work it in somehow.

Can't say I feel very safe. I have a disability that makes me a bit unsteady on my feet. It's not so bad that I need a special seat or anything, but it can be hard to keep my balance in a jostly crowd, and it's tough going up and (especially) down steep flights of stairs without any rail to steady myself. So I'm a bit nervous in a crowded stadium. As a nipper, I was in the centre paddock at the Fairs Cup Semi-Final when the Rangers fans invaded the pitch to try to get the game called off and the whole of St James' nearly turned into one huge riot. I remember finding it quite exciting but my dad was scared shitless, and never took us to a match ever again. (No commitment. He was a Liverpool supporter.)

Hope it's true, he's a really good lad and would have been one of the top three players in the championship this season barring his injury

I'm disappointed they didn't take this opportunity to replace that retarded non-apostrophe with a proper one.

Ba and Cisse. It's like Highlander, only with Senegalese strikers instead of sword-wielding immortals. There can be only one!

It could actually be argued that Sports Direct's business model is far more reprehensible than that of Wonga, involving exploitation of workers in chronic poverty but that doesn't stop people loading up on their cheap tracky b's. Any connection between morality and football was broken some time ago, Wonga's dubious practices are just a little more transparent than some - take for example the Middle Eastern companies who are flooding stupid amounts of cash into the game these days - some of the human rights they trample on a daily basis are almost beyond belief. How do companies trample on human rights?

pPeople that who can't use the English language properly should be made to do a stretch inside. -
Can't really blame people for expecting the worst though, can you? They expected the worst during the summer when we were going to sell our best players. For me life is far too short to get angry about things that haven't happened, most of us probably get enough disappointments in life without worrying about stuff that could potentially happen. I just don't see the point in always expecting the worst. It actually depresses me trying to comprehend some peoples mindset when they are constantly believing the negatives whilst instantly dismissing positives. I don't think I could continue following football with some peoples approaches to everything. Deal with the shite when it comes, enjoy the positives while you can.

I don't don't know but someone needs to photshop Cisse's face onto a packet of Uncle Ben's sharpish. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQLWRoKAwUBlFT073WfAiXDGSr9cPeX7Zo9XUYBJ22xyUJCb2DP4A http://i.imgur.com/vn2gD.png
