Yet in the middle of this noble cause and whilst all eyes are on him he takes the opportunity to post over 20 times about his upcoming events and products. That’s why I think most people have an issue with him, he uses his position in the fan base for his own self promotion and narrative
Especially as they would have to cover the PL’s costs should they lose
If it was truly a fan based initiated claim then they would have tried to crowd fund it. Ashley or those whom wish to purchase us must be.
They did and got quite a backlash
And that's what's niggling away in the back of my mind
Why did they try/fail to crowd fund if the consortium is actually behind the legal push?
A big caveat on that data is that the figures are guessed. BT, SKY or the PL havent actually released the figures
"These figures come from BARB viewing estimates, with 5,300 households sampled and the figures extrapolated for the population."
Someone might have pointed this out before but Money Mike Ashley follows only one on twitter; a PR agency called KBA (Keith Bishop Association). Under their clients they list both Newcastle United and Sports Direct: https://www.kbapr.com/clients/
In fact, a lot of the brands listed are owned by Mike Ashely (Frasers Group).
How I wish I was this far behind.
Imagine what he is going to be like when he finally gets to 2020...
