  1. That tash is terrible. http://s2.quickmeme.com/img/fc/fc54f770ce23f539548f55f80174724988eaee878994d40b08e554dfa992bc95.jpg

  3. This feels very similar to the first half of West Ham game, getting into great positions but let down by the cross/ball into the box. Hopefully the second half follows a similar pattern
  4. Terrible decision by Mike 'Its all about me me me' Dean
  5. Arsenal playing in red shorts should be a points deductible offence
  6. He certainly shouldn't have thrown it to Perez when the crowd went crazy
  7. Scott Dann makes no attempt to play the ball gets stretchered off, hope City score the free kick too
  8. It wasn't a discussion the other night, negative/alternative opinions weren't allowed or were ridiculed. I'm just trying to promote some balance here. He his working with his hands tied (like last year) but (like last year) he isn't making things easy for himself.
  9. His hands are tied, but he’s doing the same with the players in many ways so what you are saying be may spot on in parts but it’s utter defeatism to lay all this on Ashley. You are in charge of your own destiny etc. Sitting back Surrendering possession No urgency Poor use of subs Lack of movement and passing Aimless long balls AT HOME TO BRIGHTON! All down to Ashley... Shut up your an idiot, losing at home only 1-0 to City was a masterclass. Follow the forum narrative or STFU
  10. You're kidding right? It was like North Korea in here after the City game
  11. Not asking us to go toe to toe but tonight was too negative, too submissive. We didn't give ourselves a chance. In the first half we just sat there with no aggression and just waited. It wasn't tactics that meant it was 1-0 late on it was their poor finishing. Were you happier the way we played at Old Trafford in the first half or in tonight's? Clearly there was always going to be a gulf in class but upsets happen but only if you give yourself a chance
  12. Agree with this, also feel Gayle diving was related to the overall attitude of scabing it rather than winning it ourselves
  13. Sometimes the opposition is a lot better than you, You can get it right and still lose (and FFS I'm known as a Rafa critic!) Sometimes (always) the game isn't played on paper and the best team on the day wins. We never gave ourselves a chance to be the better team on the day and that's the frustrating aspect.
  14. I think it would have been more down to luck than a tactical masterclass
  15. If you can't see the difference between this team and that team then that says it all tbh. I mean we were already f***ing 3-1 down in that Benfica game So that just shows we had nothing to lose tonight. We couldn't afford to concede again to Benfica and had to turn it into a sprint. Tonight it was horrible to watch that first half and it was clear that we were going to concede and if it went 2-0 it was game over. I'm just not comfortable turning up to watch my team not try and win a match.
  16. Those saying the tactics were right tonight did you also say the same after the Benfica home game? Pardew tried to turn that game into a 20 minute match for good reason, tonight we had a free chance to have a go tonight and didn't I'm more frustrated tonight than I was after going out in the Europa League
