Yes, all of those shirts had an inner shirt which a lot of the players cut out, Speed cut the cuffs and Bellamy the collar. It was also our first adidas shirt where the badge was totally different on the player versions too (Umbro had done in in the 80s/90s)

That’s just the material it’s not a design per se. Same for the Castores, Pumas and a lot of Adidas before that.

It’s things that fans wouldn’t want or care about, things like sponsor sizes/positions depending on competition. eg last seasons noon patch was much bigger and aligned more prominently on the worn shirts

There has always been way more differences between the player and fan versions than most would realise (match worn shirt collector for 25 years) and there is even differences between the 'Authentic' version and the on field versions. The badge, material and collars on adidas shirts down the years have normally been different its just on this home shirt (and last seasons 3rd) the difference has been noticeable. Other than the black band on the collar of the fan version I dont think the actual design is different this year?

Fucksake, they cant even align the CL patch on the shirt properly, anyone know a good seamstress to correct it?
