VAR didnt sound like they were sure about it, then ref watches it under the normal impression that he should change his mind. At no point did they look at the sequencing of the other events. Not a great look for VAR imo

I have this conversation with people all the time and I always end up saying something like "If he doesnt score or assist then he offers nothing" before remembering he does them quite a lot. Im never excited to see him on the team sheet and more often than not he's a rubbish sub. Never understood where he was meant to fit into the team/sqaud and still dont.
