I think in the cold light of day we'll realise we've done pretty good to get a £5m loan fee for a player who is rarely going to feature for them. It sucks that we've weakened our options in case something happens to Pope, but long term goalkeeper injuries are rare so I'm not overly concerned about that. There's emotions attached to it because he's off to Man United but regardless of the club, the player wanted to leave and I'm glad we didn't stop him.

Was a big fan of Dubs over the years but things change. We got a better keeper and he moves on to a new opportunity. Can only wish him well.

I can't wait to get this Liverpool game out of the way. Honestly we've had a dreadful set of opening fixtures and we've put in some unreal performances to walk away from them unbeaten, or at worse with one defeat. We'll hopefully kick on with the run we have after Liverpool and get a few wins on the board. Not too many of our rivals for 7th will avoid defeat away to Brighton and at home to City. We desperately need cover in midfield though because one of Bruno and Joelinton will be out again at some stage and if either were to get a long injury of more than a month we'd be really thin.

ASM was interviewed after the game and no news on his injury so it mustn’t be a bad one. Probably just cramp.

We desperately need to sign a quality CM this week. We can’t go until January relying on Longstaff covering for injuries.

My head is wrecked watching this Liverpool game because the commentators keep saying Kieffer Moore's full name every time hes near the ball. Calling every other player by their surname but Moore gets said in full each time.

To be fair I agree with that decision.

The coverage on the foreign channels is honestly top drawer. Split screen comes up to show you goals and big chances in other matches during the game you're watching. Stuff like that puts Sky Sports to shame.

Liverpool won't be anywhere near as good as this against us. Bournemouth are letting them do whatever they want here. This is probably the easiest fixture of the season for Liverpool.

Hard to tell if Liverpool are back or if Bournemouth are turbo shit.
