The more I think about it the more I think £15m is too much of a positive for us, so much so that it outweighs us selling to a rival. I mean is Mitro even that good that it'd hurt us? It wasn't really £350m if £50m was dependent on us getting CL football, something that was by no means guaranteed. Still though, what was on the table was surely a good starting point for negotiation? We're seeing more and more evidence that this is all a ploy by Ashley to not invest in the team in the transfer market, and no doubt when he can be arsed again we'll hear that no one was interested in the club and it's back off the market. Fuck knows who'll be managing us and what league we'll be in at that point.
