Whatever people do, wait until about 14:40 before deciding.

Is it another toast and a pint kinda deal?
-
Spurs sell their best players and spend every penny they get from the sale to try and bring the club closer to Champions League football. That's the difference. I agree with that totally. But it's not the point here. Most PL clubs are vulnerable especially if a player wants to leave as Cabaye obviously does. Yeah I agree, but it's not necessarily a negative thing. It depends on the mindset the selling club has. I get the impression we'd rather hold on to the cash and see how we get on (because we're safe), and if we struggle then buy in the summer. Probably buy cheaply too, hoping to get someone we can sell in a couple of years similar to Cabaye. It's desperate and it's a cowardly way to run a football club. They should take losing Cabaye on the chin and go out and replace him properly. They should be working on that right now.

£20m and Ibra on loan for this weekend and it's a done deal.

I can't imagine how bad it'll be to hear Kinnear talk shit if we sell him now and don't replace him.
-
There really is no excuse now to not go out and get a replacement before the weekend. Plenty of clubs will start and complete moves in that time and with less time. Cabaye is gone. If he somehow doesn't go this week he'll be gone in the summer anyway so spend some fucking money.

It'll be Shola.
-
It was clearly bollocks, but I remember at the time we thought we'd signed someone when SSN came out with this big story. It was SSN who said we'd get 5 players not the club or Kinnear.
-
Remember how excited we were at that big news on SSN earlier in the month? 5 signings they said.
-
He doesn't do anything, that's why we've signed no fucking players.
-
Was having a random read of Premier League stats there. Rooney's 95 goals away from Shearer's all time scoring record.
-
No offence, but this is massive bullshit. As if Ashley cares when in the window the deal happens. If he wants to sell Cabaye, he will. If he wants to buy someone, or not, he will. This conspiracy about doing everything not to make signings is honestly bordering on paranoid delusion. So if PSG offered a fee he wanted in the first week of the window he would sell? leaving a full window with fans demanding all of the money is invested. We are safe in our league position so buying players this month will not interest him at all, we are the mugs who pay to go and watch the team play. We want new signings we want an improved team. Ashley would prefer to do the deal late so the club can use the lack of time excuse for not investing the money. What difference does it make to do it now or in the summer? Because Cabaye will definitely be replaced if he goes. I see what you're getting at given the terrible record Ashley has in the transfer windows, but we're not going to sell our best player and just leave that hole sitting there for any longer than the rest of this season.
-
We'll probably get another drunken rant from Kinnear on Talk Sport about how the kebab deal was good business and how we should thank Mike for getting us dat cash. Llambeezy couldn't get that much for him.
-
Does Kinnear handle this stuff as well? The PSG lot will just get him pissed and we'll lose Cabaye for 25k ffs.
-
You really expect to win? You've triggered the anti-Hughton forum macro here, gimp. Tbh is a sad state of affairs if you can't expect to beat fucking Norwich Look at those games against Hull, the mackems and West Brom man. Anything can happen.
-
We didn't accept that ridiculous bid from Arsenal either, and he still bailed out. Missed 2-3 games if I remember right. I don't think he'd make the same mistake twice after he ended up staying here and having to apologise. I could be wrong of course.
-
If we haven't accepted a bid from anyone then he has to play. We can't drop such an important player just because other clubs are interested in him. If he is dropped though then Ben Arfa has to start in the number 10 role.

I think they try so hard to not come across as glory hunting bastards. So they pretend to have this great knowledge of the game.
-
This is why I hope he goes abroad. Man Utd fans and sky pundits 'sudden discovery' of how good he is man... Some of the shit Man Utd fans have talked about Mata this week ffs. Literally making generic shit up as they go along. The ones I know couldn't think of a good formation with him, in fact the one they agreed on was one I suggested, the absolute bastards. I never let it get to me, but I've finally snapped from this Cabaye stuff.
-
Mentioned this in the Cabaye thread, but I know so many people just like this. I fucking hate it.
-
Was so close to posting a massive rant on Facebook there to all the Man Utd one's I know. I just got a sudden wave of anger at the thought of Cabaye in a Man Utd shirt. You've no idea how many fucking morons I've had to listen to talk about Mata like they're experts when they haven't got the first clue about him. It's a bit like that Chelsea video pranking the fans. The thought of listening to that shit about Cabaye.
-
I predict a panic offer of about £25m from PSG or Man Utd on deadline day, or towards the end of the week. With us accepting and being up shit creek with no replacement until the end of the season. We're safe from relegation, so Ashley and co probably couldn't care less if he goes now or in the summer.
-
He'll start Taylor because he's a proper Geordie lad and it's the derby, he knows what it means to play in these games. We was.
