Let's not go overboard ffs

To be fair, our game is a bigger game for Bruce. I wonder if he will be at SJP instead at the weekend.
-
If this was away from home I would say Everton, but I think they will find it tough coming here tbh, especially when the team are very hard to score against. 2-0 Newcastle.
-
Anyone who says we haven't been tested is jealous of our position, starts and ends there.
-
CT is clearly on the wind up here. Not sure if he was to begin with, but think he is now.
-
A lot of kind words on that Stoke forum. Love that tbh.
-
Christmas Tree, think you misjudged him fella, he was very good tonight.

3-1 to the Geordies! Celebrating third place, just having this one of course.....! X http://pic.twitter.com/lk0TfVqf

I get the impression he desperately wants to do well at Newcastle and is working his arse off to make this happen. So far so good, he is becoming extremely likeable and who would have seen that a year or so ago when he was appointed?
-
Seriously, they constantly come out with stuff like "Stoke were terrible tonight", "the mags were lucky" etc. They just can't admit that Newcastle are a good side these days man!

"NUFC v Everton this Saturday Massive, massive game for Bruce."

Arsenal were never "found out". The quality of their players declined and they became more vulnerable. Most teams are too overwhelmed at the Brittania to try and play football. The top sides have enough quality that they can enforce their style of play on anyone. It is a credit to the legitimate quality in the side that we can accomplish this. My point is teams saw a weakness in Arsenal, that if they played a more physical game against them they could get something, Wenger himself moaned about this. Theres no doubt as well that tonight the quality in Newcastle's team showed, but teams like Man Utd have more quality and couldn't win. I think its more the game plan, something a lot of teams visiting Stoke get wrong.
-
Remember years ago when Arsenal got found out? Teams went and bullied them about and the results came, how well have they done since then? I'd love it if this was the turning point for Stoke. Like someone said earlier, the team went there tonight and played football while most teams go and try to play Stoke at their own game. Hopefully more teams go and exploit their weaknesses because they definitely have them. The Premier League desperately needs to see the end of this long ball shite.

On track to go down as one of our best signings in decades?
-
Was furious when I seen him in the first 11. Didn't think we had much choice if Tiote was out, but I was more fucked off with losing Tiote more than anything. How wrong was I? Fair play Danny, needed to step up and did the business.
-
Yeah, I can only think something was wrong with Cabaye. If he wanted to play 5 defenders I think he would have taken a forward off? Surely? In the past now anyway, 22 points after 10 games man, in fucking dreamland.
-
Sammy and Gosling coming on?
-
Are we playing 5-3-2 now? Definitely need 4 men in the midfield.
-
Perch for Cabaye, good fucking God man.
-
We've conceded another fucking penalty man.
