He's good, and would be REALLY expensive. Short little fella, we were linked with him under Souness when we played them in the UEFA cup if i dont remember it wrong, Quite creative, good passer as many other portuguese players. But not one for us, too expensive and is being linked with arsenal from what i have heard. I have not seen him much.

If we get £8m for him i would try for Appiah. May be hard to attract. But worth a try imo..

Has the energy of a duracell rabbit. Would cost quite much, but i believe that £8-9m could be enough. Parker out and him in. Twice the player imo.. If we could attract him, but worth a shot imo.. Laryea Kingston is practically an identical type of player, and might indeed be just as good. He would cost around £500,000. I say we go for him instead. The only difference between the two is the exposure Makoun has received at Lille. Well i have not seen Kingston play at all. If he's that good as you say then i really hope we get him. Would be a bargain for £500 000 if he is THAT GOOD. How comes that he plays for Hearts?

One player i would love to have in our midfield is Jean Makoun. Hes a little bit short though, but a great player..

For £7-8m that is being said in the newspapers, i would gladly sell him and get the money from him added to the transferkitty and go for a better player..

I may be wrong, but from what i know he hasn't exactly played much as a striker. When he came to AIK here in sweden everbody was raving on about him, He was really good for Panathinakois when they were in the CL and played against Real Madrid. But then it went down for him And he went to AIK, and he did quite well there in the end before he left, he had a tough start and got alot of stick, But after that he grew asa player, And i have no idea how he's been doing lately. The last i saw from him was in the WC mostly coming on as a sub. I think he MIGHT be a good squad player. But i doubt that he's good enough to be a first team regular, but as i said i dont know how he has been playing this season.. But if you look at how little he might cost then he's a much better backup than Pattison. (i think he played for another team before AIK)

It's a bank holiday today, the vast majority of the country has the day off. Ah ok. Cheers....I had no idea about that. She usually talks so much s*** so i thought that she just wanted to make up an excuse for getting drunk and going out to party.. Is the meeting going to be tomorrow for sure? I have read about it being early in this week but not any day confirmed. But i guess that they want to do this as wuick as possible (the meeting that is) i just hope that it will ease off from there so i can call work and say im sick and have a cold BIG BEER and just enjoy the moment =)

He is a confidence player. When he has confidence he isn't that poor imo. When he's on fire he plays quite well and all those easy things in play go much better for him. And how can a player have alot of confidence playing in our shit team this season?? No quality partner to build a good understanding with, and most of all a organised team with strategy and every player knowing their roles. It doesn't matter at what level you play, in a good team you will always have more confidence and play better because of it. He may never have the touch and awareness and vision of a great player . But it can be better and i think it will be next season. He has great strengts as a player, lets just coach him in the right direction and take use of his abilities that he has and hopefully that will make him much more consistant and effective. We WONT find a player for £10m that has all that we ask for, young, 20 goals a season, super skillful and at the same time willing to come here. I say give it some time and the right coaching and im confident that we will not regret keeping him. With the right guidance he can become REALLY good i believe...
