I’m mostly worried about Longstaff and Anderson performing well enough for us to win the game. Hope they play really well because they/we need it.

Attack them centrally and run at them, as well as between their CB’s and fullbacks. Hopefully Hall and Trippier will mix and give width to allow Gordon for example go more inside. Also finding space between their midfield and defence.

I want better than decent. I want players with a strong mentality/authority and leadership, especially in goal as it gives a bit of calmness to the back four. To me Ramsdale seems weak mentally and makes quite a few simple mistakes here and there. Plus… I dislike Arteta and don’t want to give them money for their remains.

Im pretty certain that we will. Even this summer. Because we think a very good deal is to be done here, for a very good keeper. If we can get Giorgi I think it will happen. I hope we don’t go for Ramsdale though. Then I’d rather skip a GK personally.

I disagree about our midfield. Yea, we are stacked in numbers but not quality. We play three in midfield so we need more in there imo. One injury/suspension, never mind a bad one and we will look quite fragile there, especially in depth and quality. If the midfield doesn’t work or have enough quality then attack and the defence will suffer. I think some of us rate our midfielders a little bit too much, especially the ones outsides of Bruno, Joellinton and Tonali.

I think ManU will be up for this against us, no matter how poor they have been overall. They have looked decent at times against the slightly bigger named sides. This won’t be easy. Having said that, I’m more concerned about our level away and how we will perform. If we perform at our best level I think we will win. We can’t carry any players. They sure as hell should be up for this, even if away. If we don’t manage to get 6th from our current position then we simply don’t deserve it I guess. Been a good season overall considering the circumstances.
