Botman and Thiawhave played as CB in a few matches now for a various reason. They deserve to keep their place until they absolutely need a rest or have a drop of form. Schar and Burn have been very good but it's their turn to wait for their chance now to get their spots back. Not that it's Schars or Burn's fault. Just would send the wrong signals.

Did very well considering that he was more or less alone most of the game with the whole team being passive and sitting back depressingly much.

We've spent close to 150m on wide players and i still feel like none of them are good when it comes to technical ability.

But if you don’t evolve you stand still or go backwards. We’ve done greatly overall. But no one can convince me otherwise that improving the technical quality wouldn’t be the right way to take the next step and go up another level. Especially with so many more games it’s massive that you don’t have to play at 120% intensity all the time, never mind controlling games as well as conserving a bit of energy too.

I’ve said for ages now! Why don’t we put more priority into improving our technical ability. There’s a reason why we struggle to control games in the right way. I love fast and hard working players but we need technical ability to evolve properly!

Love you Eddie but where’s the bravery today? Honking football sitting back this much being so passive. We need to improve in possession to evolve too.
