Looked better as the half went on. Some really good play but also some sloppy technical errors. I don’t trust Murphy and Tino too much in general play at times. In their faces please. Much better once we got Bruno and Tonali more involved. Burn needs to be careful.

Hojlund has a lot of potential and has shown already that he can be good. Under the right circumstances he can become very good. Having said that, when it comes to pure natural talent he will never be even near Isak. That doesn’t mean he can’t become a very effective striker. There’s been so many years with Isak since he broke through where people have been saying he’s got absolutely ridiculous potential and ability and hasn’t quite been able to show it or do it consistently when he was younger. Expectations have been extremely high because those who really have known what he is capable of have known that his ability is so much more than he has shown in general. Luckily for us he has started showing and fulfilling that potential in the last couple of years. Otherwise he would have been at Real Madrid much earlier, guaranteed.

It’s almost more about PSR and FFP than actual football these days

Not the finished article but I really want Dibling. Feels like us and him would be a match made in heaven. Plenty of game time for him, How Howe (not barking) has improved young players getting into England team and so on.

Get a quality young CB with great potential to take over from Schar. Get a genuine quality RW and keeper with decent feet. Obviously a striker too since we more or less only have Isak. Sort these positions out in the next couple of windows as a priority. After that we should look to sign quality young players with massive potential for depth and rotation and allow them to grow with time and become genuine 1st choice contenders. Need to have more quality and potential in depth. Needless to say that we should do all we absolutely can to keep our top stars. Only even entertain the idea of selling one if the amount of money is beyond ridiculous and for the greater good on the whole going forward. Lovely and enjoyable times already, and it will get even better with time. Obviously there will always be ups and downs along the way. Remember when there was no hope or ambition whatsoever, total apathy. How far we’ve come in such a short period of time. PSR is a mess but nothing is impossible with time and patience and a good running of the club. Get in! (the current players will get even better too. Some have ridiculous potential)
