This! Find it ridiculous how many people seem to be reasonably content with our central midfield. Foolish and naive. I know we need a RW and a Forward/striker of some kind, but Cm is an extremely important area of the pitch. Just see how much of a difference Bruno has made, and we still have weaknesses in there. This was with Wood playing too. If we dont sign at least one CM of some sort then it's not looking very good at all imo. People overrate our midfielders because of a run that isn't sustainable for the level of players we have there when Bruno was on the bench.

Wrong. I see Joelinton as box to box (for us). Paqueta can play box to box but he's more of a AMC/#10. Also a hundred levels above in the last third.

Just sign him already. The chance of getting a player of his calibre won’t happen too often where we currently stand. Gotta grab the opportunity. You see how Raphinha was out of our reach for example. I’m certain we could get Paqueta, and afford it. Just get it done before it’s too late.

Saying that Paqueta doesn't fit in He'd improve us massively in the centre, especially in the last third. Would also offer us a dimension which we dont have, never mind of quality even near his ability. He'd be the link between attack and midfield while Bruno is the link between midfield and defense when on the ball. Obviously interchangable. Then we wouldn't have to rely on creativity from out wide as much. Plus allow us to control gmes and possession much much better. Calm and composed and very technical.

Get him in and Gouri. Plus a RW and hopefully a CM.

Now go and get Gouiri and a top class RW and a good CM. Maybe someone like Sucic if we go for a more attacking one which we also need. Gouiri would give us great options up front. Personally i'd like two CM but can't see it happen.

Things he's got spot on have been about lineups, or Bruce at best which was always coming. When it comes to signings there has been nothing but extremely vague cover all bases kind of stuff. Let's not pretend otherwise.

Yet people lap it up Vague stuff all the time, at best. No denying he has some sort of contact at the club considering the lineups. That's how far it goes.. Pretty sure that the people high up are the only ones knowing what's going on. Considering the professionalism they seem to have im pretty sure they wont be leaking stuff to the players, same with Howe for example. No chance. Leaks that show up are either made up or from the the other clubs/agents/player.
