I'm as desperate as anyone about getting new players in. I feel more at ease now though because we have a striker to start against Watford at least. It's so much better than nothing. Ideally I would have liked more obviously. Thing is that even though we're desperate to strengthen our team we also set the tone for the future with our spending now. People say just pay this and that. IF we paid up straight away, after being held to ransom., but we pay it anyway because we can then that would send out the signals for other clubs that they can basically ask for whatever in the future. We can't just think short term, as it would also hurt us long term. We have to be ambitious, but not reckless. Have to show other clubs that we aren't gonna play ut their way, or the media's way.
