How late can we register any new players for Watford? (if we get any that is..)

They have tons of injuries. But still fighting for the title. Just can't see this happening.

Personally I obviously would have liked us to win. To me though, the only thing that counts is the Watford game and us staying up, and it's been like that since we played ManU, or even longer.

Pau Torres is a Spanish international and a pipe dream, but yeah, he would have been awesome. Doubt they will sell Diego now that Kounde is injured. Unless for silly money, yet again. Not sure about his injury though.

Easy to assume that Lille are the problem here. It's been said they don't want to sell so unless we were prepared to pay over the odds why waste such a long time on this.. Lille very very rarely sell their best players unless for ridiculous amounts. I'm not saying that Lille are/isn't to be pointed at all. End result is that time has been wasted. If they kept changing price then why did we continue to deal with them.

Except that we didn't bid what they asked for. We bid the main sum of cash they wanted but our addons were different from what they wanted, but we were hopeful of it getting accepted anyway. I haven't seen anything about them moving the goal posts. I could be wrong mind and missed this, but i'm sure it would have been out there more or less everywhere. Apparently Lille's demands regarding the add ons were much more short term meanwhile our were more long term thinking. Also, if they keep changing the terms, why do we waste time i wonder. Doubt we'd do that if we thought they were being asses about it.

Exactly, so im not sure why people say that Lille are moving the goal posts. People want to point fingers at Lille, but none of us know, neither has it been said from a reliable source that they keep changing the terms.

We have put two bids in for him so far. As far as from what i've read Lille haven't "slowed" it down so im not sure what you base this on. Have they said that they dont want to sell, yes, and have they asked for much money yeah. Them rejecting our two offers is a different thing. Not read anything anywhere about them taking ages to respond to our offers, nor have i read that Lille have said that they want this sum of money, with us accepting terms only for them to move the goal posts.

It's not same thing at all. I understand that you can't negotiate way way too early, obviously. Because too much can happen between then and when the window opens. For example how Everton did with their new LB.

Sums it up. Not a meltdown but people are understandably thinking that we might not get enough in before Watford. Which is worrying if so.

Time is ticking. Probably curtains down if we lose against Watford. But IF we get enough players in before this game and we still lose then there would at least be a super mini mini chance of survival still. But, we lose that one without getting new players in before then we wont be able to sign any quality. Then we'll both look and be doomed 100%. Obviously massively important that we win, nut the pressure will be brutal and we dont have players that can handle that.

Azmoun is another player i'd rather have than fucking Wood. In fact i think he'd be a very good signing.

Not sure about his availability or willingness, but someone like Dzeko would be a much much better choice. Doubt it would be impossible to get him. Either way, there are tons of other better options than Wood.
