No one really knows for sure, but i imagine that the potential new owners want to hit the ground running. Obviously won't be world beaters over a day, or buy players that the top top teams are going all in for. What I imagine though is that they will try and raise a few eyebrows and make people around the footballing world to take notice. That won't be by signing too many players from the bottom teams. They want to make Newcastle an attractive brand again. Having said this, spending money for the sake of it won't guarantee success as we all know. Getting the signings right is the most important thing after signing a top class manager.

You wouldn't want Max Arrons in at RB? Don't think Callum Wilson is an improvement on say Carroll? Don't think John McGinn or Cantwell would be an upgrade on Shelvey? Wouldn't even attempt Grealish for example? Genuine Q's by the way. Haven't really seen that much of McGinn or Aarons tbh. Obviously wouldn't say no to Grealish for example. Don't think I'd want Wilson, even though he's pretty decent. Would he come here to be say 3rd choice?

Regarding FFP, I know they changed it a bit recently but what can we expect? Possible to spend more money now? Whether they decide to spend much or not is a different matter.
