Looks English.

Really like the look of Riza Durmisi who we've been linked with. I want him! /Wise

I wonder who will be next in after Mankini? Any "concrete" rumours?

Cheap cunts!

Poor Josh, now that Jacob is their favourite.

Lovely this, that he's a massive fan. Cant wait to see how he does

He didn't write that. I Was thinking this as I posted but couldn't be bothered to check.

I guess we won't be signing too many players so I would probably go for a CM general who is good defensively and a more attacking one that can play as #10 as well. Ideally I'd like 2 new CM and a pure #10 but I doubt that'll happen. We're so weak in the centre overall.

I hope Ryder starts licking windows on abandoned houses soon.

What's his strengths and weaknesses? Don't think I've ever seen him tbh. Jack of all trades really. Good engine and work rate, decent passer, scores the odd goal. Played left mid for Hull but would come inside to let Robertson attack, so I reckon he'd be better in a midfield 3. Don't think he'd ever be a worldbeater but I do think he's the pick of that relegated Hull squad. Cheers mate

This That's why I think #10 and a CM should be top priority. Kind of excited to see what Gayle can in the PL when/if provided good enough service and playing regularly. We sure do need another striker, but I doubt we'll get one that will automatically push Gayle to the bench, at least not this season. He's quick and a great finisher with good movement, so I have belief in him if the rest of the team is decent enough.

I remember Rafa saying something a while back along the lines of "We will/maybe get a couple of surprises as well" I'd like to think that he was implying towards a couple of wow signings, or I'm just dreaming too much
-
I hope so, along with a #10 for the 1st team.
-
That could give us around 15m one would hope.
-
After this signing one would hope that we will only go for players that will massively improve us without doubt, and walk in to the team straight away.

"Benitez still wants to add more in the days and weeks ahead and remains confident Mike Ashley, the club’s owner, will deliver them for him and he knows the type of characters and players he wants in his squad. Murphy is 22 and possesses bags of potential, but crucially he was also desperate to move to Tyneside and play for Newcastle and that is something Benitez feels got lost on the club before his arrival. Benitez said: “I’m happier (to get Murphy deal done). Our market has to be what we need, but sometimes we can’t afford players because sometimes the market is crazy. “Murphy is a young player with mobility and hunger. He wanted to come here and we want players who want to come and play for our club.” The Newcastle manager found last summer that players were keen to move to Newcastle and play under him – and he is seeing signs again that that is the case. The problem, though, has tended to be the prices being demanded for players." http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle/15418902.Newcastle__Rafa_closes_in_on_double_signing_and_he_wants_players_who_want_to_play_for_the_club_like_Murphy/
