Also, on paper our start is relatively "easy" so it would have been good if we were 100% prepared and ready to go and maybe hit the ground running. Suffer a poor start and all the added pressure on top of that and it could get very ugly way too fast, and be very difficult to turn around. Would have been so good if we could have added good quality early on to keep the momentum and positivity going. The current players would have even greater belief then and we would probably find it easier to show that we belong in this league and can compete. It's become an utter farce. I'm not saying that we will absolutely horrible before the season has even started, but we sure do make it as difficult as possible...

Apparently Charnley is flying to Germany today as well. He's trying to negotiate a better price for the ticket. His connecting flight is from Quito to Frankfurt.

I hope someone slaps Charnley unconscious with an open palm, preferably with the outside. He's such an annoying looking creature, and slow as f***.. No matter what happens with this transfer saga in the coming months.

Totally forgot about Diame His legs are gone and he isn't what he used to be. He's never been perfect technically but his powerful runs used to be effective, even though he's always been a bit inconsistent. Don't want to see him starting for us, squad player/2nd backup at the very most..

There doesn't seem to be much/any interest but it would be nice if we got rid of a few soon to give us some extra cash and space. Colback, Darlow and Hanley should give us another 15m to spend. Hope someone like Steve Bruce tries for Colback (dare to dream). Also some of the dead wood of course.
