I wouldn't say he is far better, just different kind of RB's. I really like how quickly Anita gets control of the ball and knows what do with it before he's got it. His short range distribution is really good and he almost never holds on or dwells on the ball as he usually passes it very quickly in whatever direction he decides. This means that the one who receives the ball from Anita usually gets that tenth of a second extra on the ball. Having said that, Yedlin is good in the air and has more pace and looks to go forward more often. I like them both.

It's not absolutely certain that the subs would have had the same impact if they had got on straight after half time, more or less. Just saying..

Been very good lately but I thought he was poor yesterday. A couple of stupid sloppy passes in our own half. Also, I didn't like his crosses in general yesterday, to many balloon crosses floating in way too slowly making them ridiculously easy to defend against. He did well with the pass to Atsu at the end of the 1st half. Not sure why he put those high loose balls in to the box with Gouffran there against Dunk and Duffy or what his name was.

For ages (last hundred years or so) we've pretty much only won when we've been playing well, and lost very easily when we've been playing poorly. Under Benitez we're winning consistently even during longer periods when we haven't been playing well, and that is down to us being so organized and Rafa's style over a season. Sometimes you might think that we should play a much more attacking kind of game, and yes, we might have won a couple of extra games by doing that, but we'd probably have lost quite a few more as well. But over a long season then Rafa's system is probably more effective and he knows what he's doing, even if it doesn't look all gung ho always. The combination of so many new players with the pressure on us probably doesn't always help, especially with some key players unavailable now and then this side of the year. Within time and Rafa signing the right quality (with backing) I'm feeling very confident about the future. Anyways, I fucking love the man.

I'm feeling confident. I think todays win was a massive confidence boost and probably took away some of the pressure from the players shoulders, which might help us play in a more relaxed way overall.

Was just reading a Brighton forum and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised how down to earth most of them are. They agree with us that it probably was fair for us to win in the end Usually fans find it hard to accept no matter what, but they seem ok with us winning without too many complaints.

Hope Atsu has a great game (everyone else aw oc). Their RB has looked pretty strong defensively the times I've seen him.
