Despite me going on about a LB and being desperate for years about the position, i think a quality winger is top priority closely followed by a striker. But yeah, we really need another option at LB.

I think Lascelles will start and Clark at LB. Doubt Yedlin will start straight away tbh. Hopefully Shelvey starts ahead of fucking Colback, would be so cautious going with Colback instead, it would annoy me at least. Especially since Colback is shit defensively anyway.

Probably nowhere near match fit. I mean he barely took part in our last two friendlies in pre-season. He's gonna take some time before he's at the level he can be.

Haven't seen that much of him but if you look at his pace alone then i think he'll be a better fit with Ritchie than Janmaat/Anita as he can offer some width and is really fast. Especially since Ritchie plays as a inverted winger for us. He's guick but he's not a direct player looking to go on the outside and all the way down to the touchline too often. Having a pacey player running up and down along the side line stretching the opposition a bit will give Ritchie more room to do what he is good at.

Essential that we have attacking fullbacks if we plan to play with Ritchie on the right (his best position) and a right footed on the left. Who knows, we could be signing a left footed wide player and if not it would still work well if we have pacey players providing width Having a pacey player like Yedlin will probably open it up a bit for Ritchie i reckon, as well as giving us another dimension. Hope Yedlin can do well at this level.

Some really nice passing from Shelvey in those highlights. Hopefully he plays next to Hayden with Diame in front of them on saturday against Brighton. Perez out on the left instead of Gouffran. As long as f***ing Colback doesn't start
