Well imo he has shown more than tenacity and work rate. Seen a few games that he's been excellent in. When he played against Man City (was it?) he was very very good, to mention one game. I think he got dropped soon after. Last season i think it was.

Not that we'll go for Laudrup but i believe Anita would be immense under him pinging the ball around with quick passes and movement. He hasn't been very confident or match sharp this season for many obvious reasons. But i'd bet my life that he would be very very good given belief and a good setup around him. He's very good att passing and movement (i'm not talking about final ball). I've always rated him as one of our better players. Many have written him off on so many occasions. I really do hope he gets the chance to prove what he can do in the right surroundings. I don't want this to sound like a "i told you so" kind of post. I know many of you rate him, at least as a decent/good player. Just that i'm so happy for him as he's been badly managed overall since he got here.

He will spend a lot of money in the summer, i'm sure of that as he really has to. Then before the season starts people are thick twats believing that things have changed forever. He will plug most of the bigger holes in the boat to make us a solid Premier League club again. Once he's done that he will no longer spend big bucks to take us to the next level. Of fucking course he will/has to spend much now, and he knows it, that's why he gave this interview to try and calm people down. The question isn't if he'll spend big this summer, but will he do it in the long term and always aim for us to become better? No fucking way! It's only a matter of time before this boat starts sinking again. Unfortunately the people on board after this summer transfer period will be fooled to believe that we'll go places.
