http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/s70/st180915.htm? Dunno where they got it from..
  2. Pards: He (Yanga-Mbiwa) is an outstanding player who we’ve brought to the club. Mapou has fantastic leadership skills, great potential and fantastic power – and that’s something we have been lacking, a bit of power. There’s a re-energy on the training ground with new players coming in because actually new players coming in aren’t really about taking us forward. They help, but it’s existing players and the competition that’s there. Now there’s no room for errors, no room for the odd game where you don’t play at your best. You have to play very, very well now to stay in this team.

  4. By the sounds of it, he's not totally against a move now.
  5. Dunno, but he runs 100m between 10-11 seconds. Bellamy was quick, but i doubt he'd run at 10 seconds something.

How the f*** do you know that I haven't seen him play? And its beside the point, thats a big stretch, he may well be, what if gets injured? then what? Its still Shola and Gouffran. I know, you haven't seen him. Zero point talking to you if you're gonna be a prick. But yeah cheers for the f***ing input Just that i find it laughable that you are judging Gouffran before he even has kicked a ball for us, with better players around him compared to at Bordeaux. I would like another striker as well, but to name Gouffran with that chinese thing at this point is wrong imo. i haven't judged him once!! FFS allI said was we were an injury away from starting with SHOLA and Gouffran. not sure how I could be any more clear than that. And tbf you've got no idea what football I watch. I haven't written him off in the slightest. But I'd rather he wasn't the sole ST to rely on if Cisse gets injured. Lot of pressure for a new player in a new league and country Fair enough, but the way you put it i read it as it would be 'very bad' if we had to rely on Gouffran considering you put him and Shola in the same sentence with Mr Lee face.

I was going to point that out. I generally was just trying to have a discussion. Ikon just needlessly making ridiculous comments As far as i know he didn't play at SJP??

You haven't even seen Gouffran play. And Cissé will be great soon again.
  11. Reminds me of Andy Reid in the way he moves.
  12. Would be stupid to not start him against Villa imo. We'd be weaker and he needs to get used to his new team asap.
  13. Moussa Sissoko: I aim to be Newcastle's Vieira Jan 27 2013 by Neil Cameron, Sunday Sun Moussa Sissoko MOUSSA SISSOKO believes he can be Newcastle’s United very own Patrick Vieira – and he wants to achieve even more than his countryman did in English football. Of the five French signings made by Alan Pardew during this January transfer window, it is the capture of the 23-year-old midfielder that has excited the supporters more than any other. And the France international fully intends to live up to his star billing. Sissoko, who has agreed a six-and-a-half-year deal with the Magpies, was asked yesterday whether the comparisons made between him and Vieira, one of the best ever Premier League imports, were fair. United’ new No7 said: “Yes. I am not going to say no. Patrick had a fantastic career here in England and if I can replicate that then it would be absolutely fantastic for me. “And why not even try to go one better if I could? “Obviously, it is a pleasure to be compared to someone of his ilk. But Vieira is Vieira. I am Sissoko. We are two different players. I will go out to play my own game. “I have set myself high objectives and I will give my best to get Newcastle out of this situation, finish as high as possible, and do as well as I possibly can for the club.” Sissoko admitted that the past few days had been difficult as Toulouse threatened to block his move after he agreed a deal to sign for the Toon in the summer. However, Pardew was determined to land one of Ligue 1’s biggest talents now and he was snapped up for a nominal fee. Sissoko, who in his own words is a box-to-box midfielder, came through the youth ranks at his French club and went on to make 218 appearances, scoring 23 goals. He has won six senior international caps so far. It is this pedigree that makes Newcastle fans believe they may have a star on their hands. Sissoko said: “It is very flattering to hear that the supporters are excited about my signing. It’s nice to know they wanted me here so much. “It’s now up to me to go out on the pitch and prove myself, to show them the kind of player I am. “I want to enjoy my time playing for Newcastle, but it is also important the fans enjoy watching me play for their team. They have always come, they have always supported the team, and we really need them at the moment. “So I will go out and give 100 per cent effort and show what I can do.” Sissoko will be in the squad for Tuesday night’s vital match against Aston Villa and he is ready to start the game if given the nod by Pardew. He said: “Yes I am ready. I am here to play. I played last weekend for Toulouse and if called upon then I will be 100 per cent ready to play.”

    Hatem Ben Arfa

The Ben Arfa threat will give our other players so much more space, and vice versa

Funny that HBA missed most of our preseason and still easily looked like our fittest player against Spurs. Makes you wonder what we actually did or didn't do in preseason.
  16. A 4-4-2 with Cabaye and Sissoko would be such a waste of talent. Hopefully we won't go down that road again.

They are 7 points ahead of us for now, but it sounds like they think they are miles ahead of us in every way We've had an extremely poor season, with so many injuries and suspensions and players out of form, shocking decisions from our manager and on and on. They are absolutely certain that we'll go down Have a feeling they are counting their chickens far too early..AGAIN..
  20. Can't wait! Very very excited about this game, and a bit nervous as well.
  21. Sissoko and Cabaye in front of Anita spraying cum. But i don't wanna leave Marv out who's better centrally than in a wide position.
