If Ba leaves us i meant.
-
ibrox rights? No, already been said it isn't that, HOOF or JD Sports.
-
Exactly, so from our pov it 'shouldn't' be impossible. Would give us a ridiculous front line with pace to burn. Cisse Auba HBA. Remy Xxx. Xxxx
-
How much were we prepared to pay for Lucky Luke? £12M? Add Ba money and some donuts (in my fucking fantasy) and we could get Remy and Aubameyang for example. We wont do this i know, but it would show some ambition without really paying ridiculous money. Would give us massive options and some real quality. 30 seconds wasted of my life posting this. But hey, just an opinion on a forum of what type of players i'd like.
-
If Ba leaves i would go for two forwards, both of them being able to play centrally and on the left/right, that would make Cisse our main man and give us great backup behind him and quality around him as we only have HBA at this moment. Not that i can see us going for two anyway, fucking criminal if Ba goes and we still only go for one!!!!!
-
Likely to leave unfortunately, whatever the wages/rumours. Im concerned about our need for another attacker, cause if Ba leaves we need to sign 2 forwards and it aint gonna happen im afraid.

You don't say? http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/4580/article1195929058123930.jpg

They have a board full of c***s. You've at least got a taste of that. Yes we have, and under one 'period' it tasted like putting your tongue on a piece of railway iron.

Don't know why you're talking as if some of us/me want 'pigeon holeing' or rigidity. I want fluid footie in a 4-3-3, and by that i don't mean pigeon holeing 4-3-3 either. Of course the whatever formation you use changes with movement and playing style, but you still have to have some kind of basic output with positions in a formation or what you wish to call it and then from the basics create different types of plays and movement. That doesn't mean you have to start at cordinate XX
-
Don't know how many times i've mentioned our lack of movement during the season.

Messi Willo threads you mean? Im confused, been awake since midnight

Sorry for my poor english, im at work and i might type a bit too fast atm.

And if we are going to win this we'll have to play quite well i think as Wigan are actually quite good on their day.

so what if we have 3 midfielders in there, they may have 5 at that bgiven time and if so numerous things could happen, they may be very light up front and that could leave an ooprtunity for a full back to push in a bit or one of the forwards (not necessarily ben arfa) depending on the position on the field they are at that given time. we'll put that under the title of "AWARENESS". remember back to the entertainers, nominally a 4-4-2, in practise very fluid and a team full of movement and awareness you could take an in game picture and not work out a set formation or who was supposed to be where, the best teams usually are. right now you can take a snap shot in game and you can see the rigidity of our formation, you can close your eyes and if someone tells you we have the ball in a particular place on the place you'd have a90% chance of naming the player. you're right it's not rocket science but for many it's like a computer game. well 3 would get over ran by 5 so someone would still have to drop in or push in. think about it man, we are often getting over ran with 4 in the middle. Yes someone would have to drop in, but Ben Arfa for example wouldn't have to drop as deep as he has to now when we only have 2 there centrally. Surely you 've got to agree with me on this? And more importantly when we're about to regain possession again in our own third, Ben Arfa can take more chances going forward/finding space in a more advanced position further up the field before we play the ball to him as we have more bodies in there. And at the same time having someone like Cabaye there creating some playing depth to our other two more central cm's.

Dunno what kind of prick Ashley would hire, but if our rot continues for too long i'd rather see us try something, whatever that might be. When there's a fire in a 15 floor building, people don't jump out down from it because it's fun.

Even if we go down with Pardew as the captain of the ship?
-
Im afraid that nothing will actually change very much at all, tactics, style of football or incoming transfers and so on until we're SERIOUSLY in the shit and then it's probably too late. What if we'd done something before, maybe we should have, what if blah blah blah...
-
+1 I would aslo like to see good football.
-
Regarding the point you made about Ben Arfa, say that we're not in possession and we already have three midfielders in that area of the pitch, that makes it less likely for Ben Arfa to be forced to drop as deep and as often as he would have to in a 4-4-2, it's not rocket science.
-
What a shit response!

I hope you're right...

A player that can play those positions is exactly what we need (CB 1st priority), i'd like Remy/Aubameyang, although the former has had some problems staying fit lately. Considering our position right now we might find it hard to attract them though, and highly unlikely that we'll pay these sort of amounts for a player
