Our main creators don't work in a 4-4-2 as their starting positions are way too deep when we win possession. That combined with our strikers who none of them are good enough at bringing others in to play or finding and using the space between the oppositions defence and midfield with quality. We just don't have the players to play 4-4-2, it's as simple as that, and neither do i like it personally. We get no playing depth at all in this system to take advantage of the space that is available. And it's not only because of our lack of movement this season, 4-4-2 makes it harder unless you have players suited to this setup, and the tactics as well do matter.

That's the 4-2-3-1 i would like to see now as well (when HBA is fit) until january at least.

No matter people want him out or not, i still can't understand that some people don't get it, that we've been bad all season, even before all our current injuries.

Probably loved being the main man scoring goals for fun, wasn't the same while there, can't blame him. Should be enough of a professional and team player to accept what's best for the team though.

No it's not, as we probably would score more goals as a team, im very confident that Cissé would find form again played the right way. (at least while everyone's fit)

Arry and QPR linked with Remy (lequipe) Iirc he wanted to sign him while at Spurs. Scored yesterday, has had some fitness problems and trouble findin real form cause of this.

Not bad, but no way i would play Jonas ahead of Anita. At this moment i wouldn't even play Tioté ahead of Anita (atm) who i think will get just better and better (Tioté will as we'll hopefully)

In an ideal world we'd want/need 3-4 players, but these positions mentioned should be priorities.

It shouldn't be hard, but not willing to pay for it combined with poor scouting makes it hard.

I'm with you 100% in the way they could get us playing, both very good managers but like you say it's just not going to happen is it. Plus they'd look at our current transfer strategy and say no thanks. True, just answered to your earlier post

Im sure Martinez or Jol would play in a way that suits our players and give them some freedom to express themselves in a game. Not that i can see it happening anyway, just a couple of names that me personally wouldn't mind.

I agree. Just curious, when you say 'invest heavily' how much is it for you? For me that is closer to £20m. Can't see it happening, but that's probably what it would cost. +income of potential player sales. (hope we don't lose any of our better ones, except maybe Ba if he wants to go/unwilling to play as LF)

Naming just two without any deeper thought, i'd say Martinez or Jol. Probably wont happen though, even if both of them 'should' be realistic.

Said it a while ago that when he's up to speed he'll be one of our better players. Will grow even more in a correct setup.
