Ben Arfa - Gameiro ?
-
He doesn't fit our bill, wouldn't want him either.
-
Me like
-
Miralem Pjanic (not in the first team lately, unrealistic?) Clément Grenier (Same here, probably more realistic)
-
Wouldn't mind seeing us complete most of our transfers a bit before the season starts for once.
-
i think he meant Cole
-
Bring in Perottti And Marveaux wingers sorted. (i know that they play on the left hand side mostly)

Debatable imo. I like Williamson, but if we're looking at making a genuine fist at the Top 6 next year - a new centre-back is second only to the obvious striker upgrade this summer. Obviously, there are bargains out there as we've proven with Tiote, but I'd happily see us spend double figures on a genuinely top class partner for Coloccini. Although he probably doesn't fit that description yet, I think Cahill would be a good signing. I wouldn't be sad to see Taylor go either (providing we didn't leave ourselves short), not one bit. Just a mediocre defender who's ridiculously injury prone. On the subject of centre-back, i hope Kadar is regarded as a member of the squad next year. The guy's got a heck of a lot of talent. I've yet to see him have a bad game for the club. I'd be more than satisfied going from: Coloccini/Williamson/Taylor/Campbell to: Coloccini/New Guy/Williamson/Kadar I'll have to agree with you on this, Striker/s should and probably will be our highest priority. But i would like to see a quality centre half playing with Coloccini as well. But i doubt Pardew and the board agree on this. Finding a really good quality partner for Coloccini could make a big difference in points over a whole season.

Let's say that we didn't sell Carroll to **** what would our summer 2011 transfer budget be like? Surely there was going to be some money available for new players one would think, or does the 35M we've suddenly got result in us "just" having the Carroll cash for transfers and wages for this summer? Not that i think we'll spend even that much.

Not that CB is the highest priority but i wonder how much Douglas from Twente would cost,
-
Wont stop the fucking media spreading their shit though, i'll try to ignore news like that, easier said than done mind.

Too bad i just had a wank after watching Ben Arfa vs Everton again.
-
But he's the exception that proves the rule. HBA is probably the best individual player we have signed in modern times. He's potential is beyond massive, and the only reason why were able to sign him was because of his bad boy reputation. If he stabilizes his head, the world will be at his feet. Yep. I can imagine there's some kind of wage cap as a guidance line to go after, but i doubt it's black or white. The right type of player we can offer more than decent wages, higher than the likes of Wigan and Bolton. I doubt we'll offer any player something like 100k though.

I can imagine Ben Arfa being paid 40-50k/week (At the lowest)

Can you name a better Newcastle left-back? Ever? Babayaro?
-
Flight and room already booked for that weekend, not expecting to get a ticket, but nice being there anyway. If i did get one i would be over the moon.
-
One thing i like alot about him apart from his obvious talent is that he can play in many different offensive roles.
-
Wont be going to Man Utd. Liverpool is the last club i would like him to go to. I also doubt he would go to Villa if we have a decent ending to our season and make some quality signings (doesn't have to be expensive ones)
-
isn't Diego Perotti as good with his right foot as his left? Not seen much of him tbh.
-
And that Liverpool go for Bridge

Evra has agreed a new 3½-year deal to stay at Manchester United.
