I have been away on trainingcamp from Wednesday to Sunday evening, haven't been able to get any news rally. But i read last night about the last two friendlies, i wasn't that optimistic about those two games so im really happy with these two wins. And Luque seems to be up to it now also, that can only be good. Hopefully we can get a few new players before the Bolton game. cheers

I dont know about Davies lifestyle or how professional he is, there are many young players out there who like to have one or two nights out too much to party and live the superstar style because they are famous and rich. Not every young player is like Taylor. And players from Norway, Denmark and Sweden to name few who come to the EPL often are very professional and reliable on and off the pitch. Your rarely get anything extra special when signing players from these countrys. but you often get reliable and professional players that certainly live the right way and are often good guys.

West Bromwich do they think that he's Nesta or what? Overpriced because he's english. I would certainly not pay more than £6M for him. But if there was a bid for him around 6m. How long can they play hard and refuse to accept the offer on the table. Well an unhappy player for West Brom will certainly not help them.

FUCKING HELL!! According to a swedish newspaper which has a close source to Freddie Ljungberg he will earn around £100 000!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's insane, Especially when he's a 30 year old constantly injured player. I wonder what West Ham's wage bill looks like, it will probably get even bigger. That Makes a player like Ronaldo look underpaid

Well i dont think he regretted it, And if he had offereda new contract to Bramble and kept another of those that he let go of he would of got slated for that, that's for sure...and i wouldn't either have wanted them now..

Didn't we bring in Luque and Owen after we had started the season a couple of years ago? Which players had we signed before then? Parker? Emre? and?

And we only have one DM Nicky Butt, Well Geremi can play in that role as far as i have read, But is he good in that position? And i do not believe that SA plans to play Rozehnal there if needed. Of course our priority lies in defense, but we surely need some more depthin midfield also. But as you im more concerned about our defense where we are thin and lack quality..

I have not read through hole this thread. But what is it that takes such a long time? Is it the board going through everything in the club and trying to sort out stuff that hasn't been done correctly or the best way? is that why they wont release any funds? Or have they released a transfer kitty for Big Sam to spend just that we haven't been able to get the players signed? This coming week and next week will truly decide much on us having a good season or a not so good. I understand that the new board has to look into things in the club before splashing massive cash here and there, but it's taking too much time if that's the reason why we are not getting any new players in... Im impatient but still optimistic about the future. But i dont want to believe in good things too much as i have been disappointed about things so many times before as we all fans have..

Well i would certainly not mind him here. "could" turn out to be a bargain if he was a success which i believe that he could become if he had the managers belief in him as a player, one small thing like that can give you alot more confidence, and without confidence as a player you don get far in the game no matter what level you play at...

Ujfalusi and Barzagli would do for me, aswell as a LB....Ujfalusi can play RB too. Barzagli is available in the transfermarket and Ujfalusi's contract goes out in a year. They may not have PL experience. But should we really wait too long just go get PL players? We may end upp with panic buys, and we know how that went last time. Don know how much Barzagli would cost though.

Well this surely doesnt make things any better. Just three weeks to go and our midfield engine and almost no defenders at all atm..jesus fucking christ. Hopefully we can get in a few defenders soon at least...
