Keep him unless we get silly money, we cant let go of anymore players, we have to get players in instead, especially defenders, better keeping dyer than selling him for small money as we wont get a replacement for him for that cash from his transfer if he was to leave. We could get a replacement but there isn't that much time if we are to sign 2-3 defenders

Just having Michael Owen fit for most of the season (hopefully) will do wonders for our season. Still cant let go of when we met West Ham away and they played us off the park for most of the game and we still managed to win and Owen grabbed a hattrick. And now hopefully with a better defence in the future and Sam in charge and us hopefully much fitter and with some true tactics and organisation we wont be any pushovers and maybe we can find some consistency and teamspirit for once. Im optimistic but still catious. If we can go in the right direction slowly but steadily i will be more than happy to have some patience for success. I just dont want to suffer anymore from seeing pathetic performances and our rollercoast style.

For all we know, we could be in the process of closing in on deals that will take our spending to £20m or whatever. If come August the 31st, we've still only spent £1.5m, then I'd be concerned, until then I'm prepared to sit and not pass judgment. I can't help feeling our rather quick dealings to date may have raised expectations when it comes to the transfer market, that and talk of big names and £50m budgets. From what i have seen om him i would say Woody, well i have not seen him much tbh and i cant remember to say for sure. But he can take the ball forward from the backfour, maybe not as well as Rio but still better than carragher to name on. He's not the quickest either but positionally he's good as many other italian defenders just like Woody was. But i could be wrong...
