I don't really think Perch is clearly better. Marginally on recent form maybe. Perch is comfortably a better footballer than Simpson and he's shown it for the last year.

Predicting 3 teams to not 'need' to win against is irrelevant. It isn't a battle for 5th in reality, it's a battle for 67 points. Which incidentally, will definitely not achieve 4th. Well, I´m sorry. I still think the title, in opposite to it´s content, is badly misleading (or what you should call it).

No one is demanding a top 4 finish. I just think that you should have a "realistic dream" and I think, as you says, that it is to finish top 4. too have a battle of 5-7 just because that may be the likely outcome feels quite lame too me.

Ok I get it now. But still. why is it the battle of 5th when you calculate that only 3 teams is going to be too good for us. Just because 67 points historically will get you a 5th place that doesn´t make this a battle of 5th

Why battle for 5th and not 4th Think it´s implied that Arsenal is the 4th team. But I don´t think they are that good that we can´t compete. After all. I´m afraid that Wigan will do quite alright this season. Chelsea will be quite a hard cracker next week. Hopefully we can step up 10 times from yesterday.

Was a good sub and he did nothing wrong when he came on. Sickening too always read about how shit he is even if he makes it ok. he will probably never reach the level everyone though he would. But to have him as an late sub in games isn´t a bad chose and people should let him be that player without boo and moan every time the few minutes he is playing.

I think he actually won the header at the far post for the goal but she should definitely have reacted the same way Defoe & Saylor did, instead he stood still. Don't get me wrong, I rate Santon much more highly than Simpson, but people have made their minds up now and there's no fair assessment. Like it should be something new. Some players can´t succed and some can´t fail. I think everyone get there´s.
