One of the things Spain is not such an exciting side as we could be is the same reason we have won so much after all these years. Del Bosque's tactics are about controlling the match and wait out for that chance to win it, not as much as going for it. Anyway, I think that our performance against Italy is the single best Spain performance in a meaningful game since I've been watching. We weren't too great during the tournament, except in glimpses and spells, but that was nearly the perfect game. I meant the 1st half, sorry about that. Im not taking anything away from Spain, Im talking about this 2012 team. I believe like I posted above the 2010 team to be stronger. I actually believe that Spain and Germany 2010, Brazil 2002 and France 2000 were all stronger sides than this Spanish side. Its an unbelievable achievement no doubt, I just disagree regarding that this is the best team ever. When people talk about "the best team ever" they not mean exactly the team that beat Italy this Sunday, BUT over this four years. Can´t believe that people has gone against this Spanish team. It´s just beyond me.

I think the WC 10 Spain team was better than this. But it´s unbelievably typical people to always refer to history when decide if something was better now or then. Brazil 02 as one of the best come on. That is just because there were Brazil and Brazil in football has always got the aura to be the best in football (when looking at history I can agree with that though). Spain boring? Can agree that they sometimes could player more attractive. But why not just sit back and just be amazed over how good they are?! The final against Italy. WOW, just WOW. If you couldn´t be entertained by that. Why bother at all? I can agree that it wasn´t exiting, and that it could be more fun. But I rather take that show than a more "exiting" Spain-Portugal. Can we not just be happy to see this team? In 10 years we will talk about this era as an amazing era and that the Spain team with all there players and technique was just unbelievably good.

Italy did it ok before Mottas injure. But Spain was still for me the much better team. When I talk about the best team in the history I´m talking about the period of 08-12 and that another team has been so good for so long. I agree that they didn´t really shined this tournament. But still they only conceded 1 goal and was the better team in every much they play. I most of all. They was at there best when it really mattered.

I´m not the one that really like to compare teams and players through years. But how can people say that teams from 40-50 years ago was better when probably many of them hasn´t seem them? Lack of competioion why had teams earlier it harder? 10 clean sheets in knock out stages the last three tournaments. And only 1 goals conceded this tournament. Yeah. The other teams are really shitty...

Spain is simple the best them in the history. A head above all of the other teams.

If that is true then it really is a no brainier really.

The question is still. What are we lacking in quality? To see it positive. This will really get us a kick in the back (if we should need one) and we will only come out stronger.

Depends what criteria they check. Assuming its not just the quality of facilities which are under inspection otherwise we would surely be up there. To be honest I´m a bit surprised that we eventually wouldn´t pass the criteria that is demanded. But most shocked I´m I because we know that the club is working hard with the youth department now days, etc spending a lot of money, and still we can´t find out the demands so we pass it.

How the fuck could we miss out to be a category One club It would be embarrassing and bad.
