As much as ever really, was probably going to start watching other youth teams in the area play too, to get an idea of what other coaches are doing. Russian Premier - ESPN U19 - Eurosport Classic Games - ESPN Classic Old DVD/Videos 'saved' games Toon U18s/reserves Toon Disappointing that you haven't been watching the U20 Women's world championship!

I've got that future game book, the two tutors when on the UEFA B course were talking about how they got them sent from the FA. At the time they thought that it would not be on sale. So when I saw it on the website a couple of months back now, I decided to order one. It really is a fantastic tool to help with your coaching and session plans, especially for my UEFA B pack (which I really should crack on with). It has all different types of sessions for the different age groups of players.

No, he isn't a premiership striker at all. Championship is his level.
-
Noticed it's in The Sun as well, they love to generate bad publicity and blow it all out of proportion. It can't even be called a chant, wasn't like every Newcastle fan was shouting and singing. Just a couple of idiots, randomly shouted something about him (from where I was standing anyway).
-
Love to see him back in a black and white shirt
-
That article says the chants rang out round the stadium, wasn't that bad just a few people really. Makes it sound much worse than it actually was.

Just bought the blue strip and the blue training top. Think it's better than it all looks in the photos. The shop in the stadium looks empty now, I thought Puma would do what Adidas done and sell other clothes as well, but not yet.

Anyone know if it's been confirmed that Capello is going to attend or not? I read earlier he wasn't going to, which is quite shocking really!

I done my degree at Sunderland Uni and graduated in 2008. Was a really good course as covered all different areas of sport. From coaching, psychology, biomechanics and physiology - doing loads of different modules within those areas. I used to relate all the different assignments to football as found that the easiest way to do it. Plus helped me remember more things for different exams if I could do it that way. I find parts of it really do help towards coaching, as I have a very good background knowledge of fitness and exercise because of my degree. Just wish I could get a full time job in sport!
-
Nice one Chris, are you going straight into level 2? I have a Sport Science degree too. Which Uni are you possibly going to?
-
That's a good point Robbo, but it is starting to become a grey area really. As everyone seems to say female coaches are being pushed, but I have been struggling to get a full time job in sport. Good Luck with your level 1 Chris, I am sure you will fly through it :-). That would be good if you could find out the set up for Falkirk!
-
Not sure if I will buy one or not, but shall have a look when it comes out. I do like the latest Adidas one we had.
-
Good luck, Caz! Seconded. What are you wanting to do if and when you get your level 3? Thanks guys, I'll keep you updated on the progress and different things to do with the course. For the coming season I am going to be coaching an U16 boys team. I would love to say my aim is to be able to get into an academy and coach, but I think being female will hinder my chances for that.
-
Yeah I have a big list of different topics, in the defending and attacking areas which it could be for the final assessment.
-
The level 2 is all about the sessions you do after finishing the course, its best to do them as quick as possible really so you go back for your final assessment. It is very different to level 1 as you start getting more technical with your coaching and sessions which are totally related to game like situations. For the level 3 I have to do 10 sessions, mainly phases of play with the odd function and small sided game as well. The main session for level 3 is the phase of play, because the final assessment all comes down to how you coach your topic in that environment.

Johnson and Cole are in for a long 90 minutes as not going to have much support !!!
-
Ah nice, hows that going? I was thinking of looking into that next Summer, but wasn't sure how reputable the companies were organising it. I am back in England now. Was out in New Jersery from March til August last year. The job was brilliant coaching all the time, with different levels of players. Quite a lot of the companies are in NJ, I would say that if you have an interview in the UK then it should be alright really.

Not that I include the big lump in with those players, but Heskey trying to pull the ball across a crowded penalty area to Rooney instead of taking the clear shot at goal he had was astonishing even for him. Clown. Yeah he really is a total plank! Must be the worst player to manage to win so many caps!!!
-
So many times in England's game yesterday if the players such as Lampard, Gerrard and Rooney had been playing for their club teams they would have had a shot at goal rather than the extra pass they were trying to force in tight positions.

I'm more disappointed with the training gear than the strips, as I've got loads of puma training gear and its really good. Ours just looks terrible!

I've just finished doing my UEFA B/Level 3 coaching course a couple of weeks ago. This focuses on phases of play, functions and 8v8 small sided games. Which are all really good and different, putting aspects of the game into practices which require hard work from the players. I started doing my coaching badges at the end of 2005 with the level 1, and started coaching u8 football. I then moved onto the level 2 in August 2008 and went to the US coaching in 2009. Then this year decided to make the step up to level 3. The FA keep changing the coaching methods and bringing in new aspects of the game. They have been really big on bringing the 4 corner model for long term player development which focuses on technical, physical, social and psychological aspects players face in the game.

Was a bit random how the stewards could have grabbed him about 10 times, but just let him then exit in the Leazes end. Then looked like 4 or so jumped on him? That was what it looked like from the Gallowgate end.

I managed to catch Ryan Taylor showing a bit more emotion! Shock horror! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v685/caz87/carolineames%20blog/Newcastle%20United/champions/IMG_0904.jpg

He put it around his daughters neck. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v685/caz87/carolineames%20blog/Newcastle%20United/champions/IMG_0907.jpg

Going to waste a few grand in the casino I would imagine. Or they could be going to see Dear John together. They were heading up towards the casino but I like the Dear John story better haha.
