Jose Enrique is a pretty tall full back, that worked out well. Apologies if posted elsewhere, but saw this on a LFC forum. Read it and wept... 1 on 1, Enrique's very hard to beat. Happened only 9 times last season, compared to A. Cole (38), Clichy (26), Baines (24), Evra (23).

Get a grip man..Of course he'll improve the squad..He's amply proven that already. That's why we need the money for Enrique, so we're able to buy a PROPER replacement. Besides, if he wants to sell the club, he'll get much more for it if the squad is full of prospects and is fighting in the upper tier of the table. One thing I'd say to those slagging the local papers is that they are still way better than most up and down the land. Instead, he's going to a club whose last left-back signing was Paul Konchesky and a manager who once signed Carl Serrant. This is a sad day for Enrique as well as NUFC.
