But it's so important to have local stalwarts here to gee the lads up...
-
Magical work that from Barnes to set up Isak.
-
We've took our foot off the gas, not liking this much.
-
Yeah I was totally surprised to see it off.
-
He's looked a bit off the pace and a lot more cautious than I thought he would be. Maybe too conscious of conceding a goal and ironically that makes him look more like doing it.
-
Shit, thought that was the game sewn up.
-
Anderson showing for the ball in a way you don't see so much froom Longstaff.
-
Yeah I'm enjoying the way we are keeping the ball under pressure, the young lads have shown plenty of composure so far.
-
Floated right into the six yard box and Dubs stayed rooted to his line.
-
Sean Dyche up next to give it the old Die Hard take no prisoners interview.
-
Might keep an eye on Onana given there's a split in the fanbase as to whether he's actually a footballer or just a water carrier.
-
It's daft like, he's not made of tissue paper.
-
Was thinking the same thing. Would really love to see Hall and Elliott try to make a name for themselves tonight.
-
Not too bothered about Willock starting on the bench, he's an impact player who can make a difference if we need a goal.
-
London is also a big draw for foreign players usually even if we don't like to admit it. They can lead relatively anonymous lives there if they want to, away from the spotlight. Although Isak seems to have fit in well enough at Newcastle, I doubt he's looking to leave unless it's for a big wage rise. Not sure Levy's the type to offer that.
-
For that much we might as well keep him in the garden, will only cost us about £4m to do it. Based on the same logic that you wouldn't loan us Lingard for less than £14m because you wanted us relegated.
-
Well if he got the job at Newcastle, would be difficult to imagine him organising the womens team development beyond giving the nicer ones his number. Can't really see him sorting out the club infrastructure, training ground development and such either. Maybe there's literally more to him than meets the eye.
-
If we sold Isak for a huge fee, who would we be able to buy to replace him? The likes of Osimhen aren't going to come here when they have the pick of the CL clubs to choose from.
-
Depends. I would imagine a Dyche side would be heavily reliant on set pieces and chucking long balls at us aimed at their big men. Considering we have Botman and Lascelles out, you would imagine Burn will be switched to CB. That would leave us with two full backs who aren't huge, so potential joy for Everton there if they can get the delivery right.
-
I'd never noticed them before, but now I'm thinking if we play him at LB behind our other muscular young midfielder, Elliott Anderson, we could simply pound Everton's right side into the turf.
-
Is there any team which isn't scoring against us since the New Year?
-
Might end another potential source of revenue if it means Miggy is out beyond the summer. He'll be on his final year of his contract by then. Not that I thought he was going to agree to a sale anyway.
-
He's done a very decent job as a CB for the most part as well, a lot of people seem to gloss over that. I had no problem at all with him coming in to cover for Botman before his injury yesterday.
