I think I won't be the only one here who is bored to fuck with this saga. Lost interest since about Friday and at this point don't really care.

That would be my preference as well. But I will happily take Isak and Wissa as our strike force for next season if Sesko decides to go to Man U. I've consistently said on here that we should not accept less than £150m for Isak, and preferably just tell Liverpool to do one, he's not for sale. I'm hoping behind the scenes that is the stance of the owners.
-
Not hypocrisy from me. I want to keep Isak and buy Wissa. Players agitating for more money is part of the game, it's not exclusive to us.

Yeah I bumped the Eales thread and made the same point a week ago. He deserves our sympathy for his illness, but he really should have been discharged of his duties a lot earlier if he wasn't on top of what Mitchell was doing/not doing. The whole thing was a shitshow tbh, we clearly had a clash of ideas between the hierarchy and Howe which led to the impasse, and decisions should have been made to go one way or the other far earlier.
-
Yeah I'll wait to hear that from another source before I take it too seriously.

There's no guarantees anything will happen, this is all just a bunch of posters guessing at the end of the day.

If it's true, it's not a great look that no one at the club picked up on it. It really does look as if everyone was asleep at the wheel.

What's the worst that can happen if he decides to go to Man U? We keep Isak and hopefully buy Wissa. I think I'd prefer that anyway.
-
Still think Isak staying at Newcastle is the most likely scenario if Sesko goes to Man U.
-
Would definitely Ramos over Watkins who is described as a preferred alternative to Sesko in that article.

The system is rigged for sure. But we don't have to comply with them every step of the way. Isak is still our player with three years of his contract left. We don't have to sell to a direct rival if we don't want to. There might be some blowback from Isak's end, but in the end he doesn't really have many options either other than sulk for a week or two. But he's still training so looks like he should be ok for the start of the season if he's still here.

Fuck off Plettenberg with this cock teasing stuff man. We've been hearing this same shit about him making his mind up soon for a week now.

Being the owners of one of the world's top football clubs on a level with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Barcelona would surely be a big incentive to invest heavily in the city like the Man City owners did. Investment in the team is usually the first step to achieving that, and it's precisely that part which is being prevented by the PL and their paymasters in the cartel.

Defintiely looks mentally ready, has been going for it every time he gets the ball.

We were good generally, but Bruno stood out significantly with his class on the ball, and that is where we still look short in a lot of positions. -

That was class. Tino is such a top tier player, no surprise Pep has targeted him. -
I don't think we can judge PIF commitment to the city when the block on the Saudi commtiment to the football team is being shackled by English football authorities. It's like saying we'll take your money, but you can't get any benefit from it.
