Has David O'Leary ever managed in the lower leagues? My recollection of him is of being one of the most incompetent twats ever to get a job, if that's unfair I'd appreciate if someone could point out his qualities.

Why hasn't Mike Ashley approached Alan Shearer to see what conditions he'd require to return to the hot seat? After all, he's on record as saying he's prepared to listen to what the fat cunt has to say.

Xisco hasn't looked impressive in the few games I've seen but he does look like he's got more of an instinct for where the goal is than Shola or Smith. It's clutching at straws but that's all we've got tbh. Without goals we won't win matches and while Xisco might not score them given a run of games, I'm pretyy much certain Shola or Smith won't.

Alternatively, he could end up stirring up shit and going on strike like Bassong. Pleasantly surprised that he hasn't done so already to be honest. For that to happen there'd need to be a club willing to buy him. While the interest in Bassong is clear I haven't heard much about Jonas, so what is there for him to be in a strop about?
