  1. I think you might see another player coming who can play both center back and left back, Allardyce likes his players versatile and it gives us more options in several positions. Would be surprised if he's mobile enough to play LB. Looks like he's built like a brick shithouse.

    Kieron Dyer

that's crap a player only a month ago Sam said was instrumental to the team, and who he then valued at £25m, gets sold to a millionaire for only 7 f****** million quid, when c***s are paying £5m for absolute s**** yeah thanks a lot you fat b****** Look at the walls..they are moving...changing shape.. now wipe your chin with your bib...stay away from the walls....
  3. Looks like a big guy. Probably bought to play centre defence rather than LB.
  4. I see Sven has spent nearly £40m on unknown players since being appointed manager by the bent Korean. Would the Ashley knockers please stand up and be counted at this stage? Prefer Man City's approach or ours?
  5. I'm guessing by the time we've played West Ham twice, Vic the pr**k will have changed his nick. Let's see who's right.

I think it's time the Dyer hate brigade gave some credit to Sam and Mort for getting a very good price by all accounts. Thank God they were negotiating instead of you eh?

    Kieron Dyer

Just about sums the intelligence of this thread up tbh. The best thing about Dyer going is these will now die out. Now that is worth celebrating...
  8. no. you can provide me with his excuses if you like Did he have a bunch of fans banging on his car windows telling him to fuck off then?
  9. No he didn't want to go to Birmingham because he was worried people might turn up at his door threatening to kick his head in. Do you want me to provide you with quotes?
  10. I distinctly remember Bowyer didn't want to move to Birmingham in case he got trouble from the large ethnic community. Is there a parallel to why Dyer needs to leave Newcastle after getting abuse and his house vandalised?
  11. Thanks, so you agree there are no better alternatives despite his flaws at present. A sensible response which I applaud.
  12. So with these massive flaws in his game, you would replace him with...? At this stage please realise to point out faults is easy.To put forward a solution is real work and progress. Now do you have a point?
  13. Well your last reply was: Not really sure how you want me to respond to that tbh.
  14. He seems a better all round player now the ball is being mostly played on the floor, his link up play with midfield has been excellent. I wonder if Owen was offered a new contract? tbh, I always thought his link up play was good on the deck, even last season. Don't really understand the stick he gets considering what he gives the team. If he was called Andy Carroll and came from Gateshead we'd probably have built a statue by now. Honestly, bored to death of that s****. That argument ONLY stands for Steven Taylor - who is a good player. Does anyone, anywhere, really think that Peter Ramage is anything more than Unibond League standard? Do you honestly think if it was Lee Clark doing what Martins does we'd be carping about his poor first touch? Ramage and Ameobi are both geordies How are they relevant to Martins? I might have quoted the wrong person. It was aimed at whoever brought up the point about Carroll and Clarkie not getting stick if they done what Martins gets stick for cos they're geordies. Well Ramage and Ameobi get plenty of stick for their faults. I see. Ramage and Ameobi have £13m release clauses...now I see how you are drawing the comparison. Let's re-negotiate their contracts as well..

  16. No you pleb. He scores goals and makes them. Which is why he might be getting a new contract like it or not. Did you enjoy the first touch which smacked the ball bast the Celtic keeper?

  19. N'Zogbia has looked as motivated as I've seen him since Souness left. He's done very well under Allardyce, so this story makes about as much sense as the one about selling Martins - which has since been rubbished by Sam. This one will probably end up in the bin as well.

  21. Absolutely top post. Let's at least wait till the end of the transfer window to see where we stand before making judgement on a new regime.
  22. I'm a big Martins fan so this is great news far as I'm concerned. While all the talk has been of Luque, Milner and Geremi lately, for me Martins has been superb pre-season. A lot of our best attacking moves have gone through him. Cracking player IMO.
  23. You're right. We should don white hoods and nail him to a burning cross tbh.
  24. The way I see it, Smith is a straight replacement for Dyer. Dyer is a more exciting player, whereas Smith is a bit huff and puff in comparison. If Sam is going to play long ball football though, then Smith will be more effective than people might realise. And the big plus is, we won't have a bunch of twats venting bile at one of our own players because he's too flash, a little waster etc. Will be a blessed fucking relief, even if we've paid £3m more than he's worth.
  25. The problem with blind hatred is, so called fans can do so much damage to their own clubs. Players who are driven out - and you can spin it any way you want to, that's effectively what's happening, because no one would want to stay where a significant section of the fans don't want you - you can bet other clubs will try and lower the asking price. No wonder Mort is mortified at the repercussions.
