Not surprised, there wasn't really much to enthuse about. If Willock and Murphy have bad games, you can put it down to them being out of their depth. But Pope, Bruno and Tonali were hardly much better.

Strikers miss chances, it doesn't mean they are finished, that was my point. I said this even when Isak was missing them and people were moaning. If Wilson is finished, it isn't because he missed the one on one yesterday.

I think Miley is more than good enough to rotate with anyone, including Tonali and Bruno.

Tonali is one of my favourite players, I just think our players would be a bit sharper if they weren't taking their places for granted. I think Howe could use his squad more effectively but obviously I'm not a pro and he is.

Think he can still score goals tbh. He was never a great contributor outside the penalty area even at his best, he's shown he still has the goalscorer's instinct. Just without the goals so far this season.

The best way to maximise his potential would be to sell him for an inflated fee after a blockbuster season. But that won't happen.

He should definitely be rested, tired or not. Lewis Miley is a tailor made replacement anyhow, this is where Howe needs to use his squad.
