I do find these type of links tiresome tbh, same goes with the other lad Osinhem. When the world's most glamorous and richest clubs are fighting for them, we have to accept we are not there yet, at least not with FFP hurdles stacked in our path. The good news is we have tremendous leadership and coaching at the club, so we are in a position to buy potential or similar players and make them look BETTER as a collective than the individual superstars we are talking about. Again, just reference the same superstars when they are playing for England.

I think we'll pay it if he's as good as we think he is. Why wouldn't we? We aren't at the stage yet where we can buy the players the current elite clubs are in for such as Rice or Mount.

It's just Leicester being arseholes, probably still miffed at going down with a bunch of superstars on their books. They are trying to get the best possible fee for Maddison but they aren't getting £50m from anyone, not with a year left on his contract.
