  1. Pogba's a fantastic player for the right club but I think those who said he's more suited to the continent are right. It's not that he can't handle the pace of the PL, I just don't think he can be arsed. He always looks so much better playing for France. I love watching him play, but I don't think he's a NUFC player, his head always seems to be turning wherever he is. Plus he looks much less effective with a bald head.
  2. I think in the summer we'll be a lot more strategic in our signings, we'll only be bringing in significant upgrades, players who can really improve our first team for the most part, so even if that's just three signings, you can bet they will be good players.
  3. Hear Hear! And kicked in the knackers for good measure.
  4. What the fuck is Luke the Puke on about now? You click on a thread about transfer rumours and there's more tweets of him fighting with supporters.
  5. I'm not even thinking about going down, I'm more pissed off we haven't got at least four points from our last couple of games which would have seen us having a great shot at top 10.
  6. I meant in his prime which is when he played for Blackburn wasn't it? He was past his best when he came to us, but if Robson liked him, I'd go with his opinion tbh. SBR usually preferred footballers over carthorses.
  7. Kevin Gallagher was a pretty good player in his prime though, part of a Premier League/English League/First Division winning side. He was a damn fine player at the top level at the time. Wood is nowhere near that quality so the comparison is fairly shit.
  8. That's what this game does to you, we've all been there.

    Isaac Hayden

Yeah that would be funny. If any of those officials actually watched the game they should be embarrassed to be drawing attention to it again.
  10. Wow, I can see why you were biting your tongue, you don't hold back when unload do you? But yes, I've mentioned a few times about those headers going nowhere, and I agree, he's not that great in the air for a man his size. He does press the defenders well though.
  11. Yep, basically said the same sort of stuff in the post above.
  12. I agree, I know a lot of people on here didn't like him, but I thought him and Dyer gave us a very dynamic midfield. We didn't get overrun much in those days did we?
  13. Still don't know to this day how they got away with that. I think after some complaints they put another strip called the awfully nice Gypsie bastards or something along those lines.
  14. The pathetic sharks were an inspired creation tbh. Almost Blackadder levels of genius.
  15. Cockney Spiv! I think I was subliminally affected by that cunt, I've used that term many times on here.
  16. FWIW I used to buy VIz religiously for a while, then I think it went off the shelves. There were some amazing characters like Spoilt Bastard, Mr Logic, and a lonny left couple who i can't remember the name now. The only page which seemed weird was the one about some guy who had massive balls which he carried around in a wheelbarrow.
  17. Chelsea shoud never have had that spending power in the first place.
  18. Yeah, it wasn't me who posted the Viz cartoon in this thread, but they definitely had a comic story called Fat Slags, there were cheesy chips involved and usually a skinny bloke called Barry.
  19. Poor West Brom fans, he'll be there to keep them cemented in the champo next season as well by the looks of it.
  20. It's all the fault of the players, they've let down a fine manager again.
  21. Wright gets on my tits tbh, but as a striker I forgot how good he was. I mean I knew he was good, but some of those goals.....wow.
  22. Thnaks for that, appreciate your take on it. So despite all the miscarriages of justice in the US, they still haven't done away with capital punishment. I guess the public at large just have too much of an emotional attachment to it, and in a democracy what the people want is what goes.
  23. I was switching through the Sky sports channel yesterday and there was a piece showing Ian Wright's goals down the years. Even though we are going back decades, some of the finishing was out of this world. And then I watched Wood against Everton.
