  1. I said this in the pre-match thread, that we should do what the best CL sides have done to us. Press them and then hit on the counter. They are poor quality side so I would have thought under pressure they would give the ball away in their own half, which they did a couple of times, but then we just sat off them.
  2. Really? He tried to run their RB early on, realised he wasn't going to beat him for pace, and we never really so much after that.

He just doesn't fit our style of play. Whatever that is these days. He's done well to score the goals he has tbh, but he won't be able to keep that up.
  4. He's not really got any defence today. We spent a shitload more than them and you couldn't really see it on the pitch.
  5. The own goal can be put down as bad luck. The performance can't.
  6. I'm kind of numb, thought even in a poor season we would turn up for this one. We didn't fancy it at all against a really shit side.
  7. Why is no one challenging the keeper there?
  8. Shouldn't be that difficult tbf, they have a bunch of nobodies in attack.
  9. I don't understand why we are sitting off so much. Under pressure they have lost the ball a couple of times, which is what you would expect against shitter quality players. We don't have to press high, but we should be right on top of them when they have the ball.
  10. Well I did say it was a personal opinion. I think Gordon's been worse so far.
  11. Annoys the fuck out of me when Burn and Thiaw are challenging for the same ball.
  12. Do the PL only investigate related party transfers then? My bad, I thought they were just sticking their nose in on all inflated transactions.
  13. Is it right that Sunderland have brought pitch sidlelines in to turn it into more of a scrum? It would make sense if you are a shitter side tbh.

Well what's the fucking point of the forum then?
  15. Plus Gordon has more pace. Elanga and Gordon will stop the filthy mackems from pressing too hard in case we win the ball and rape them on the counter.
  16. I think we can definitely win the battle in open play. My one big doubt is how we will handle set pieces, and Ramsdale's handling of corners hasn't exactly inspired confidence. I trust Howe will have addressed this specifically for this game though, so we should manage it.
