Hall has been sloppy so far.

Great save Pope.
-
They are unbelievably poor.
-
First real chance.
-
Tonali is really snapping into their midfield.
-
Our set pieces are more of a danger to us than the opposition.
-
When the Amazon pundits on the pitch said we'll be back at 7.30 I assumed they would be talking about other teams and switched off. I hope I've not been missing Howe interviews and shit.
-
Watch him lay on the first goal now.
-
Him and Barnes both. We've signed two left wingers with more or less the same traits. Both are decent players mind, just quite easy to snuff out if you show them outside.
-
His private life is of no concern to me, but considering we didn't sell him in January because he was considered too important, it would be nice if we could make use of him while he's still under contract. He's being paid enough.
-
If he's not injured he must have pissed Howe off pretty badly.
-
Murphy did attempt to sling some early crosses in when he came on. Only problem was he was needing three touches just to get the ball under control first.
-
PSR mistakes have been recognised by the owners and I'm guessing that's why Staveley and Mehrdad were moved on. Mitchell will be making different type of moves, although whether Howe will be happy about that remains to be seen.

Said this a couple of weeks ago. It's not that he's a bad player, but if he's not starting every week then he's dispensable. We need to prioritise other positions where we clearly do have a weakness. If we sold within the next year or so we'd get our money back you'd have thought. Although I don't think there's going to be interest from the top clubs so that might reduce the bidding pool.

I'm probably projecting my own irrational dislike of Liverpool onto the rest of the support base tbf. For the average fan it's probably just another game.
-
Having said that, there's no way we win this game. A point against these would be a victory of sorts given Howe's record against them.
-
I'm actually not dreading this fixture as much as usual. They are playing great, we have played shite in our last two games, so expectations are not that high. It's a perfect scenario for an upset, especially in front of a home crowd that will be jumping. A lot depends on a proper striker starting though. If it's Gordon up front, we're shagged.
-
Well I hope you're right, that means Isak will be starting tomorrow.
-
There has been this constant reference to Howe lying about players fitness to mislead the opposition as to our line up, but I've never really seen it myself. He pretty much always seems to just tell it pretty accurately from what I've seen. But maybe I just haven't been paying attention.
-
Why not? It wouldn't be the first time.
-
That would fly if we were playing Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City or Arsenal. But we weren't we were playing Crystal Palace.
-
He might be up for it, but if he's playing as a striker not sure it will make much difference.
-
If it's an impact injury then might be better not to train until the pain has lessened. It won't necessarily stop him playing on Wednesday, although I would be surprised if he's available tbh. I'm resigned to him missing this one personally.

I've said it enough times now, but I think for that it would have to be a vanity project. To make us no 1. TheFFP/PSR as they are currently being interpreted make that very unlikely. My concern is that it now reverts to an investment project with a limited ceiling, in which case does throwing loads of money at it make financial sense?

You compared to LIV, I just assumed that they were a lot more dynamic with them because there was less obstacles they needed to overcome to crash onto the world class golf scene. Football is a lot bigger and more complicated.
