Just finished watching, what an utterly depressing result. Aside from Remy we just didn't look up for it. Back four all over the place, midfield was sloppy and Ben Arfa and Cisse were shocking. Will always be this way with Pardew in charge though, I'm beyond being surprised by us losing a game.

Give him a new contract, before it's too late. He'd definitely sign up for more I reckon, he loves us.

He'll always be a frustrating player I think, but he'll start scoring goals again soon I'm sure. Ideally would like our next signing to be a pacey wide man who can play either side. Would give us the option of playing Remy centrally occasionally too, which might ultimately be his best spot. Imagine we'd signed Thauvin and had the option of him and Ben Arfa either side of Remy.

Looks to me like a very good squad player, not brilliant at anything but quick, hard working and has a few goals in him. Might be worth a start or two soon if Cisse can't find his form.
