Had an off day today but you can see glimpses of his quality and how good he can be as a box to box CM. He'd benefit a lot from a quality target man leading the line.

If we're willing to reinvest the money in a striker be a left winger I'd sell him tbh. Anita and Sissoko has the makings of a nice pairing in CM while we're woeful up front and out wide. Sad to see him go, but honestly can't begrudge any of our players wanting out when a real football club shows interest.

Just finished watching. Jesus, that was a dismal game. Some positives to take, first time in a while we've had a CM pairing that had some balance for example. Biggest issue was the strikers though, both Shola and Cisse were an absolute disgrace.

Glad to see Marveaux get a start, hope he makes the most of it. Anita and Sissoko in a 4-4-2 might work and all. Would be a decent team if we had someone who isn't completely shit in there in Shola's place.

As in the club owed money to someone else and Ashley paid that off (on top of what he paid for the club) and instead of the club owing money to a bank it now owes that money to Ashley. The benefit being that the debt now won't continually accumulate interest? Not massively sure, but that's always been my understanding of the situation.
