Great win, quality performance. If Ben Arfa can stay fit and be even half as good as we all hope he is we're going to have a very nice little team for ourselves. Cabaye and Tiote are looking like the best CM partnership we've had in a long time, compliment each other so well. Colo is magnificent, and Taylor alongside him is playing as well as he's ever done. Very strong spine. Great to see Ba get off the mark too, his first goal was absolutely top class. Good stuff.

Happy enough to have him on the bench tbh, should be getting at least half an hour though (throw him on at half time if we're losing). If he can't play a full 90 yet then it's better to have him on against tired legs than starting him and having to take him off after an hour.

It's class like. We signed him, everyone agreed it was pretty much a cert that he'd be a class and then he comes in and is immediately fucking class. Looks to be the best ball playing central midfielder we've had in a very long time, pleasure to watch so far.

Jesus we dodged a bullet there. Don't see us getting through though, we're well organized and committed but there's no real threat in our team. Keane and Duff are past it, McGeady is and always has been rubbish (at least at international level, people tell me he actually plays well sometimes for his club) and our central midfield is absolutely shocking... Long and Doyle as a partnership has some promise for the future but I don't know where any sort of service is going to come from.
